I love this particular Denny?s. My husband and I go out of our way just to eat here (we live in North Scottsdale). The food is... awesome and the staff is amazing!!! We went in on a Sunday for breakfast. They were short-staffed but still managed to serveour order in a very timely manner. The staff is so friendly, professional, and courteous. Very bad service. We order the all you can eat pancakes. Order didn?t take too long to come out . Same for drinks . But when... they seen the adults eat off the kids plates cause they got full the bad customer service started and it was bad. asked foranother order and it took over a hour for food to come out and they didn?t even serve both orders just one the pancakes lookedunappetizing. We asked for another order of pancakes she said ?I don?t know what you want me to about it. I?m not getting youanother pancakes so just deal with what you have.? I said ?we aren?t sharing our food anymore and if we can?t get better servicewe will be needing a refund.? She said ?your not gonna get that and I?m not getting another manager.? Soon people were gettingthere food and we sat and waited for drinks and food to come out it never did so we asked to speak with another manager for arefund they said ? don?t pay just leave and never come back ? Our waitress was very lovely, upbeat, and the best part of our experience. She was very attentive! She kept our coffee cups and... water cups filled. Even though she was working the floor all by herself she made all her tables were taken care of. I orderedthe multi grain Pancakes, took a while to get and they weren't the best but still good. The fruit was fresh. My eggs and turkeybacon were also good. I'd come back definitely. Read more
Ordered over the phone for a pickup. Got there and they only got half my order. Waited 20 min with no discount for them messing... up. Asked if they put the biscuits and gravy in the bag. They assured me they did and I saw the gravy. Got home to find nobiscuits in the bag for my biscuits and gravy. When you want breakfast first thing in the morning and someone can?t get yourorder right two times in 20 min, that just makes the day worse. Read more
I visited the men's room. Under the rubber urinal protector, the urinal was caked with old, disgusting caked urine. I asked to... see the restaurant manager, and he refused to come out from the kitchen. Just refused to hear my complaint. That's the lasttime I do Denny's. It was a very unpleasant experience. And, the table where we were seated, was covered in food flecks andcrumbs. Being ignored by the manager is not how you spread pride in your business. Read more
Poor customer service. The workers had their children running around and touching things with dirty clothes and messy hair. I... ordered a cali club and the deli meat in the sandwich was old, discolored and hardening around the edges. The lettuce andtomatoes were not fresh. Sad and slimy one could say. The bread wasn't toasted but stale. I had requested fries in place of thatmeal and it took 20 minutes for them to bring them out. They were not busy at all and there wasn't any excuse. I understand nothaving available items and lack of employees but this experience was just extremely unpleasant. Read more
ONLY COME HERE IF YOURE IN A BAD SITUATION LIKE ME AND DONT HAVE MANY OPTIONS. So pathetic.... I?m like almost lost for words... other than the word LAZY.. oh and pathetic. I ordered the Nashville sandwich cause in the picture it was drenched in the redsauce and they seriously gave it to me dry with red sauce poured on top. I had to ask for a plate of red sauce and do it myselfand they had no problem with me finishing their job, of course. And when I tell the waitress she tells her boss ?oh he wantsmore red sauce? I had to correct her it?s like they DO NOT CARE The minute i walked in I could tell they didn?t care.
