My sister invited me to lunch at Cooper's Hawk Winery and Wine Club, a great concept where, for as little as $21.99, you can... become a member and discover a new wine every month, enjoy dining discounts and take them home or enjoy them in the restaurant.The atmosphere is modern and upscale. The service was informative and attentive, and the food and menu are paired to theavailable wines, offering suggestions to make the dining experience more enjoyable. For an appetizer, we tried the drunkenshrimp; bacon wrapped shrimp in tequila lime butter sauce, and guacamole .I had the prime rib sandwich topped with fontanacheese and served with parmigian fries and horseradish sauce. We can't wait to go back to Scottsdale to visit Cooper's Hawk again! Hands down the best place that we ate at on our visit. We... were staying not too far and decided to venture outside of the resort, after reading some reviews we decided to try Cooper'sHawk and we are so glad that we did. The atmosphere, the food, the service and of course the wine all exceeded ourexpectations. The meal started with warm pretzel bread and butter. We ordered the Brussel sprouts and the pork belly tostadasfor appetizers: AMAZING. I ordered the red wine braised short ribs. So tender and flavorful. Absolutely delicious. We finishedup the meal by splitting a piece of the butter cake. This was so good we ordered one to go and ate it for breakfast with coffeeon our balcony the next morning. The wine: we started with the red flight. Which was great to get a sampling. We then ordered abottle of the current Cooper's Hawk special, suggested by the sommelier. This is what is in the decanter in the picture, it wasthe perfect pairing for our meal. We ate in the bar area, this gave us a great view of the mountains in the background. Theserver, sommelier, and the manager were all very knowledgeable and so nice and accommodating. I waited way too long to do thisreview and wish I remembered the names of the fantastic employees who made our night out in Scottsdale so wonderful. Wow!!! This place was AWESOME! We came here after a recommendation from a friend. The food was delicious and fairly priced for... what you got. We had drinks, apps, mains, and dessert and it was half of what it would've been at other Scottsdale restaurants.We'll definitely be back!! I had the grouper... was a little on the salty side. My husband had the filet. Cooked to perfection.Haven't checked out the wine memberships yet, but for one bottle it's only $20/month. A steal in my opinion! Read more

Absolutely love the Trio of Medallions, and the 8oz Filet dinners! Perfectly cooked and amazing flavor! And oh my goodness,..... that charted broccoli!! You can nibble on some Pretzel Bread & butter, while waiting for your meals. Great wine selection,great - tasty - cocktails, along with beautiful decor & ambience! Loved the Pear Drop Martini!! Signed up for the WineClub,.. So, we’d went back a few days later for a patio lunch and to pick up our wine selection. The apps and lunch entreeswere ehh. My hubby thought the egg rolls were ‘okay’, although I didn’t feel the same. Nice layout, nice lighting & decorfor dining inside,.. There are also quick grab & go gifts on your way out.
