I ordered pad ga prow and thai basil fried rice and felt that this is a very americanized version of Thai food. The rice in both... the dishes was overcooked and perhaps not the best quality. Only low quality sticky rice cooks into a mush instead of cookingnicely into sticky rice form. Also rice cooked in oven instead of rice cooker or pots with water can leave some texture of therice. Anyway, the fried rice had burnt bits of overcooked eggs and chicken. So basically the proteins tasted overcooked. Thecarrots were out of shape and hence had an almost burnt texture too. Basil leaves were not picked well so were in big chunks.Felt like a cow with a mouthful of greens. And I think it was Italian basil and not Thai basil or ga prow basil or maybe notinfused well in the dish. The overcooked rice also made the whole dish taste a little off. The chicken pad ga prow also had verychewy chicken breast pieces. The chicken had excess salt in it whereas the sauce was sweet. And I had ordered for thai stylehotness. But got a sweet dish. Barely had any hint of garlic in it. Would suggest addition of mushrooms to evaluate the dish andgive the dish a nice balance of flavours. Again the rice in the combo was overcooked. So it made the whole dish taste worst. Didnot find a single bamboo shoot in the dish though the description mentions it. And again the same problem with the picking ofbasil leaves was felt. Attaching close up photos for reference. Read more

They have the best orange chicken in the Valley! They use fresh chicken breast, and it's fried until crispy, and their orange... sauce was very flavorful with a little heat at the end. Their egg rolls were also delicious, and it goes well when you dippedthem in their orange sauce. Read more

My brother and sister-in-law raved about this place. They invited a bunch of us to go. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it... was quiet. We learned you had to order at the counter. I ordered the shrimp and chicken pad Thai and the seafood curry. I wasblown away by both! Their fresh handmade lemonade was delicious, too! It was very good. The staff was friendly andknowledgeable, I'll be back soon. Read more

Well there is just so much to say. I love this place so much. It is one of my top three places to eat. It is Mom and Pop owned... and operated. It is a fusion of tie and Chinese food! The food is cooked fresh after ordering So it's not fast food by anymeans. The flavors are delicious and not oversalted like many of these places. We always bring friends here and they are sosurprised how amazing it is. My favorite is the drunken noodles and seasonal. The pumpkin yellow curry is divine! Also make sureyou get a Thai tea. It is incredible! I'm so thankful this place exists Read more

I ordered China Basil Thai & Chinese Kitchen today through DoorDash. This is a newer restaurant, and the menu has quite a few... options. I opted for the Dumplings, the Egg Drop Soup, the Pad Thai, the Garlic Chicken & a Strawberry Boba Smoothie. TheDumplings were a let down. They were cold on the inside and burnt on the outside, and obviously of the frozen variety.(1/5) The Egg Drop Soup was decent, it tasted authentic but there was a terrible aftertaste of MSG or saltiness. (2/5) The PadThai was terrible. The sauce tasted pre-packaged and the noodles were very thin and were clumped together. It was also very dry.(1/5) The Garlic Chicken was awful. There was no garlic flavor, it tasted like rotten fry oil and all I could taste was salt.(0/5) The Strawberry Boba was too thick and there were large chunks of ice like it wasn?t fresh. (0/5) I don?t think I wouldtry this place again, as everything tasted poorly made and quite literally left a bad taste in our mouths. Read more
