Very American Mexican Fast Food, Counter Order, Pickup your own food, bus your own table, and a tip is expected!?? I was not... impressed! Guess maybe it depends on what you order! I got the Salpicon Salad-supposedly with grilled chicken-NOT! It was coldsmall chunks of prepackaged chicken, not good at all! I expected nice slices of warm grilled chicken! It did have a lot ofguacamole and sour cream. It?s served on a very weak tostada shell. Salsa Bar is a bonus! You get a small bowl of chips withyour order. They play very American oldies Rock Music -makes no sense for a Mexican restaurant ! Large outdoor patio, largeindoor bar. Great location, walkable with lots of places nearby! Update: 10/17 - Went back and had the carne asada taco which is still the best so far in Scottsdale and also tried a bean and... cheese burrito. Both were great. Previous update: We give this place four stars. The food is good and the price is right!Plus there is a full bar, outdoor misting tables, and outside/inside bar! Combination plates are quite inexpensive plus toupgrade it?s only .40c more to upgrade to Carne Asada BONUS: You get free chips with your order! DOUBLE BONUS: They have aproper salsa bar! We did a postmates order. The food was ok. However, for the price, it wasn't worth it. The lobster ravioli had maybe 9 in it.... The scallop/shrimp linguine had only 2 of each. The fettuccine weese, the mushrooms were very overpowering. And the minestronesoup was very blend. For close to $100, I wouldn't order again. Read more
