Good food. Ordered the Bitters Burger and the Brie Mac and Cheese. It was supposed to have bacon. Pointed out to the server... that there was no bacon, and she said it was ground up inside. Later checked the picture in the menu, and you can see the bacontopping it was supposed to have. This level of service is why this only gets 2 stars. Read more

Great cocktail selection but the food was disappointing. We ordered The Bitter Truth and a ginger lime mocktail, which were both... excellent, along with the bitter chick, Michigan cherry salad and the baked brie. I would only order the Brie again. Environmentwas upbeat and it seems like a great happy hour spot, they just didn't impress me with the food. Read more

To be honest, this wasn't the greatest experience. We waited to be seated longer than expected. Once we were acknowledged, she... said she would clear us a table. Which she did, but then took another few minutes after clearing the table to come get us. Onceseated, we pretty swiftly ordered our drinks, the Bitter Cucumber and A Tid Bit Prickly. Once the drinks arrived, I knew mydrink (Bitter Cucumber) didn't look right. We were only there for one drink and when we got the check, it confirmed we wereright, we got the Pineapple Express instead. My drink was supposed to be $11 but the drink they gave me was $17. The only goodoutcome was when we brought this to their attention, they agreed to take the $17 drink off our tab and get the correct one. Themale server that night was great! The female seemed a bit all over the place. But good news is all drinks, whether we ordered itor not, was great. Just think they might be a bit unorganized. Read more

Attended date night here for the whiskey selection. The area is a great location as you can do a little restaurant hopping if... you would like. If you're a fan of whiskey this place has some good selections. I also like that they have a smoker whichchanges the experience as a whole. Sadly the batteries died and they weren't able to smoke our drinks that night. I wouldsuggest this spot for drinks but not for food. The calamari presentation was beautiful but lacked flavor. My first impression was that maybe they were trying to hard to appeal to too many people. TVs and football and yelling patrons... like a sports bar, high-end cocktails like a hipster cocktail bar, Scottsdale strip mall like any generic chain.. however, I waspleasantly surprised. Both of our meals were excellent. The steak was expertly prepared, the chicken was crispy and juicy, thepotatoes were killer and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. Even more important than the food though, the cocktails werekiller. My wife enjoyed the Bitter Key Lime Pie so much that she had two of them. I ordered the Midtown Manhattan and the BitterOver The Top. The Over The Top was cool and it was a tasty drink but the extra cost of the theatrical elements weren't reallyworth it, in my opinion. The Midtown Manhattan, on the other hand, was outstanding. The theatrical element of the smoke chamberwas pretty cool but the drink spoke for itself.
