Good location in heart of old town. Easy to find and next to other bars and restaurants if you want to hop around. I’d... consider this a sports bar with a casual atmosphere. Live DJ weekends and super fun for a Sunday funday. The DJs they’ve beenputting on sundays have done an amaizing job. Diverse music, Latin, hip hop, and rap. They have lots of tvs for you to watchgames and a decent amount of seats at the bar top or tables if you have a larger group. They have a decent selection of beer ontap and a lot of liquor options if you want a cocktail. Service though… gotta step it up. Bartenders don’t seem to be happyat work, don’t give the quickest service that could be saved by a great attitude but you don’t ever get that. No smile,thank you, or anything at all even when you tip them. Ive waited almost 15 min just to have my drink order taken by a bartenderbecause she looked over me to other customers who would flag them down. I guess that’s what I get for being polite. And if youhave anything to dispute they are quick to call security to get you kicked out lol didn’t happen to me but a customer at thebar was disputing his bill and he wasn’t even being rude and the dude got kicked out right away. Food is solid !! I findmyself going back occasionally but would love to see customer service improve. Read more
Bevvy used to be great but ever since they got new ownership it has gone super downhill. Last night my boyfriends nice pants... didn’t have belt loops so they wouldn’t let him into the bar since it didn’t meet their unspoken “dress code” thatstarts at 8PM. A minute later they proceeded to allow some girl with gross sweat pants in but apparently that meets their“dress code”.. My other friend who went with us to watch football wasn’t allow inside since he was wearing a jersey. Theymade him buy a $30 tee shirt and after the first one didn’t fit correctly they wouldn’t allow him to return it but, insteadbuy another $30 shirt. Who does that? It also doesn’t help that you’re now charging way more than every other bar. Bevvyused to be an Old Town staple and is now easily the worst run bar in Scottsdale. Last night you lost a table of what would ofbeen 14 paying customers. We all agreed we will never be back. Good job Bevvy! Read more
This place was absolutely electric on gameday this past Saturday. I was in from out of town so first experience and will... definitely be taking my talents back next go round. Whoever was DJing on that day(9/3/22) deserves a raise cause he was gettingafter it. Read more
Great food, karaoke selection and tunes were on point! Our server Ashley was so polite and sweet. Service was speedy, drinks... were delicious, atmosphere was a whole vibe. Read more
Food wasn't horrible, but the waitress could not have been more irritated that we were there for dinner and not just drinks.... Then when it was time to pay she stated that they could only split our bill evenly 50/50 (as my husband and I were there withanother couple) yet we didn't order evenly. The couple we were with were forced to pay part of our bill because they refused toitemize the bill. 50/50 or altogether that was our only choice. This was just laziness. What if we sat at different tables...different bills, it's not that difficult. Should be waitstafg 101. So between her attitude, the mediocre food, and the refusalto charge us correctly. I would not recommend. You never go to a business and they make you pay part of another person's billjust because you're together, just irritating. Read more
SCAMMERS!!! My friends and I were so excited to go here for my bachelorette and were significantly overcharged for our drinks on... purpose I think... On the receipt you will see 2 of their Signature Drinks: (2) 23 in Me for $92 (?!?!!) and (1) Grow a PairDouble for $33! Our group had people from Miami, Boston, and NYC and have NEVER had drinks this expensive!! They don't displaytheir prices on the menu which should be illegal! I would not recommend going here because this absolutely ruined the night fora lot us when we did not expect this large of a charge but if you absolutely have to go here DO NOT ORDER THOSE DRINKS!! Bar was unwilling to charge their advertised rate for drinks. Ads were playing while there for 2 for $10 lemon drops. Ordered... two at the bar and was charged $30. When I brought the advertisement up to the bartender he replied “we stopped that specialtwo weeks ago.” He ended up giving two more drinks when I said the ad was still rotating on their tvs. When I asked for sixtotal to be paying the advertised price for the drinks he said no, I could talk to the manager and walked away without pointingme towards them. I went and found a manager, explained the situation, he said they weren’t doing it any longer. We waited forthe ad to play again and he walked off for a bit once it did. He was unwilling to give me a refund as he stated they were twobusy. When I requested two more drinks for them to be the $5 each (as advertised) I was told I was getting $90 worth of freealcohol and should be happy instead of them admitting I was getting the drinks at the advertised rate.
