Awaze tibs were next level. Highly recommend, perfect blend of spices in all of the dishes. The interior design is also amazing!
I've been here a dozen times but I'm not going back any more. Pros: Best restaurant for Ethiopian decor and ambiance. Flavor is... pretty good. Cons: quality of food has gone down over the years. This last time, the music was so loud it hurt our earsthough. We asked them to turn it down but they wouldn't. Then the waitress was contentious w us ordering food, wouldn't evenlet me order the dishes I wanted. She said our group was too big and she'd only do the "specials". She was just about yelling atus, which was really weird and awkward. I told her I didn't want the raw meat from the specials though, but she didn't care.Just weird. Because she was so rude, and because she hardly provided any service, we tipped only 10% but that was still $40.She then came and yelled at us three separate times for tipping too little. That was ballsy. Their other server used to begreat, and the owner is friendly, but this latest experience was too unpleasant, I can't go back. There are so many other greatEthiopian restaurants in the area that seem happy to have us. Check out abyssinian cafe. The flavor is better and theirowner/server is so friendly. Read more

Great customer service, food tastes Great. lot of options on the menu, I order three dish and I make mistake to combine the 2... dish to make a better flavor , turn out One of the dishes have some meat that was so hard to chew!! Just shared a wonderful lunch with nine team members from work. We shared 3 huge platters, and had such a great time. Our... waiter, Samson, helped us select platters to share so we'd have some of everything. Fresh, delicious, and authentic. Loved thestrong spicy aroma in the air, the music, and decor. Piassa restaurant is probably the best authentic Ethiopian restaurant in Atlanta. I dine in this restaurant regularly. They make... nice Tibs (Chikna Tibs, Geba weta, Dekak Tibs). The waitresses are excellent. I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyonewho would like to enjoy some of the best Ethiopian dishes. Read more
