Never fails! After the customers leave, instead of cleaning tables they all break out their cellphones! I drove 11 hours... straight and wanted to dine in. we always come to this waffle house and after tonight we will not be coming back exceptionally if the two boys that was working... tonight is there because our waitress was too worried about being on facetime with someone and then the cook (dakota) wasextremely rude to someone who walked in to get there food even tho it was there from this morning I understand it was form thismorning but he couldve approach the situation in a different manner and then the phone was in the back where they couldn?t hearit and the lady said she had been calling since the time she ordered it! Loved the food, the service was super. However I was very disappointed that this location would not show appreciation to... VETERANS. yesterday I enjoyed the waffle house in Crowley louisiana and the staff commented on my disabled veteran license plateand without me asking gave me a VETERANS DISCOUNT. Today I went to this location in Lafayette and I enquired about a VETERANSDISCOUNT and I was told in a firm voice "we don't do that here, we only give discounts to police officers " I replied, ""what ashame that you don't honor VETERANS " I was told "I don't make the rules, corporate does " I was told that this location iscorporate owned. SHAME ON YOU GUYS. I will visit franchise locations who honor VETERANS of the United States ???????? military. Read more
