Incredible location. Unfortunately the new owners have substantially reduced the menu content and food quality. Just have a... light dinner with two rounds of beverages which ended up to be $92. This is not necessarily market competitive in thisarea. The burger is essentially a Big Mac but not as good (only available with American cheese). Need to return to the largesingle patty burger which was a favorite with many. Other issues are that you cannot get a cup chowder only a bowl as well asthe beet salad has been substantially reduced in content. The formula is not a good one as the regular such as ourselves overthe past 35 years will go somewhere else. This will especially be an issue come November through May when there are fewvisitors. perhaps the menu changed now and specials for the winter. This is meant to be constructive criticism as location isabsolutely incredible. The food however will be a real issue. We know many of the staff and they continue to try to be positiveand certainly are pleasant with customers. Hopefully the new owners will listen to feedback and make appropriate changes. Read more
Went here for my birthday a while back. The food was great and the service was awesome too. The waitstaff is super friendly and... kept giving our kids coasters with riddles on the back. Good food/beer selection and a very nice spot for boat and peoplegazing. Great clam chowder and apps.. but the clams are.. well read on.. Ahh the clam plate. It was super fantastic. Firstoff.. I grew up in Maine, and I?m also pretty old, and so I?ve have had my fair share of clams. These large full belly clamsmay just be the best I?ve ever had. Definitely within top 2. Nice crispy batter not overly thick and super fresh.. these aresweet clams.. if you like clams you will know what I mean. I think my daughters clam plate had a few more than mine. Bummer.Also great tarter sauce. My wife had the fish tacos and they were also really yummy. They make them with a little hint of spicywasabi so just be advised. We love sushi so they were just the trick. My son had the fish and chips and that was also great.Not sure what that other reviewer was talking about with lack of fish. This was thick cut fillets with the same light batter.Onion rings and fries were also awesome. Putting this one on our list of favorite places. Read more
Great ambiance. Our server was nice, good sense of humour. I had the swordfish with mash potatoes and some drinks, it was good ... (exept the boiled veggies) don't expect fine dining. 5 stars for the view, atmosphere and service ????. We will return?????????? Read more
Service was excellent, clam chowder was very good fresh tender clams and a tasty broth that's not like pudding. Fish and chips... were only fair. Small thin heavily battered portions, surprising for a seafood restaurant. The food was great but you definitely want to come here for the view if you like scenery and to people watch. Sit on the patio,... get a nice breeze and watch the boats coming in from the Harbor. Our server was a character, glad we came! Read more
