I may not be the absolute authority on Chicago cuisine, but I can confidently proclaim that this place is one of the best... Chicago has to offer. My friend and I both got some italian beef, fries, and lemonade, which were all killer. The beef wasincredibly flavorful and juicy, the fries were perfectly crisp, and the lemonade was very refreshing. Try it! And make sure youget your beef wet. Read more

I Passed Bye This Place Today And Something Made Me Want To Stop Here And Eat. Was With My Wifey And She's More A Pizza Puff &... Gyros & Burger Girl. Me I'm More Willing To Try Anything From Beefs & Hotdogs & Gyros &Philly Cheese Steak. So We Dine In AndOrder The Pizza Puff Small Fries And Vanilla Shake For The Wife. I Order There Special Italian Beef Dip With Cheddar cheeseFries And A Root Beer. the food was great definitely Will Be Back Cuz I Saw They Have A Meatball Special Also. I really enjoy the Chicken Sandwiches from here! I usually just get a Chicken Sandwich & Fries, then I'll purchase a drink from... the gas station down the block. I thought the Pizza Puff was really good (shown in photo). I split it with my husband and heenjoyed it as well. He ordered an Italian Beef & after trying a bite I thought it was delicious too. Over five decades ago my aunt owned an Italian restaurant called "Villa Roma" in the city. I have NEVER had a beef sandwich as... good as hers and she passed away with that closely guarded recipe. My brother took me to Franny's and I have to say, thisbeef/combo took me back in time!! Absolutely delicious!! She passed at the age of 93 and I wish she was alive to take her there(although I'm sure she may have "tweaked" something in the recipe LOL).. looking forward to going back soon with my daughters,and friends who have never been there, and of course my Big Brother too ????
