.Cream corn not bad.The rest a fail ..Tough brisket chewy fat not rendered I kept spitting it into a napkin like chewing gum... couldn't swallow, black pepper n smoke is the flavor but they sure cant cook brisket..Ribs the absolute worst I've ever tried adog treat at best ,couldn't get the meat off the bone.. $32 in the trash ..pick any place but here it can't be worse.If I hadate in I'd ask for a refund . I had catering this past weekend from Rudy's for my wedding and I was so impressed. The time for delivery was 1:30pm and they... were there even earlier and set everything up for us. The food was delicious and I had so many leftovers! I just want to say howhappy I was with the timely service and delicious food we received! My dad was in charge of it and spoke with Mikayla (sorry ifI'm spelling it wrong). I called the day before to change the contact person for them to call when they were on the way and theywere very understanding. Overall amazing and I was so happy with how great everything tasted. Meat quality very very good. Service very very bad. Start off with a surly order taker., They gave little sacks of... pickles?.are they made of gold? You would think so? about 5 pickles to a sack. No peach cobbler-out. No green beans? Used tolive in Brownsville where they have an excellent location where the service is fantastic. This location told me they were alcompany store and Brownsville is a franchise. I would suggest the ?company? people take a trip to Bro and see how it?ssupposed to be done. This was the FIRST AND LAST TIME, I will ever come here. I was looking for a place that offers brisket and decided to try this... place. I get there and there were all these signs that had "try the worst BBQ ever" or "the worst sauce ever" or "the worst...."etc. I thought it was some sort of reversed psychology marketing and that food cannot be that bad. BIG MISTAKE!!! I shouldhave considered all the warnings to be fact. They do not offer plate lunches, everything is a la carte making it more expensive.I ordered the brisket and potato salad. The brisket had no seasoning, it tasted as if it was boiled with plain water. It wasn'tmoist and had the a tough rubbery texture of deli meat. The potato salad was bland. I threw away the bread slices the clerkrefused to change, due to them being attacked by the swarm of flies at the register. The BBQ sauce tasted like ketchup andvinegar. The bagged onions and pickles did not help cover the poor quality of the brisket. The food is over priced and if couldget my money back I would. Being new to the area we are always on the lookout for good tasting bbq. Rudy's is a very good option. The brisket was tender... and juicy. The sausage was delicious. Chopped mixed meat had the right amount of sauce mixed in. The ribs were good but didn'twow me. I wasn't a fan of the cream corn but that's not too say it was bad. Just not my type. This place is definitely on ourshort list of good bbq spots in San Antonio. We will be back. Read more

We had our anniversary ? dinner ???? with Rudy's County BBQ. This is the place where you can get awesome tasting BBQ. I ordered... the brisket and potato ???? salad. The potato salad is delicious! For $6.95, you get the one sausage link by itself. I added a side of the potato salad (pint size)... for $4.95 extra. All of the meats come by themselves so if you?re wanting any sides, you have to add them. There?s not an optionfor a meal or combo which is the only downside. Read more
