Fresh, juicy, tender chicken strips with a pleasant flakey crunch. Served with a side of thick-sliced buttery golden toast and... their sauce. Such simplicity and packed with flavor. I went for some food with my grandmother today and had an amazing experience. She?s gotten to the point where menus are... confusing and a little overwhelming and doesn?t tend to eat a whole lot of food. On the menu it reads that the kids combo is for12 and under, but after reading the choices to her that is what she wanted to get. I usually have nothing but love for Canes, being a customer from the original restaurant in Baton Rouge. But I was very... disappointed in today's visit. I ordered a kids meal at 10:30 am. I wasn't worried about freshness because that is what Canesis known for! But my entire meal was cold and limp like it was leftover from the previous night. The girl working the drivethrough acted as if she would rather be anywhere else but at Canes, which is understandable during these times but a littleeffort at being friendly is greatly appreciated please.
