This is a terrific restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was very fast, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful.... I was so surprised how much we liked them. We?ve tried a lot of Mexican places in the area, both smaller more authentic ones and... larger chain places. We?ve been disappointed a lot but this place was great. The service was amazing, worth pointing out becausethey were above and beyond, our waitress was the best. The food was so flavorful and even though the dishes come with only 2tacos, they were large and stuffed full. The margaritas were delicious as well, I?ll definitely be getting the El Saltomargarita in the future, it was better than the regular but both were good. There?s a large menu with things you wouldn?t findat other Mexican places. It?s maybe not as authentic or traditional as some people might be looking for but I was thoroughlyhappy with everything and can?t wait to be back! Read more
Absolutely horrible experience! Long time customer, and never experienced the treatment I got from here. Met a relative for a... late lunch and the place was empty. Ordered the Alambre, a quesadilla kids meal and taco dinner. Our order was messed up, butsince it tasted good, did not complain. My cousin never received his drink he ordered with his meal, only water. We were rushedwhile the restaurant was empty. I used my bank card to pay for the meal, and my cousin was going to leave cash for a tip. Whenasked to break a large bill, they decided to keep what they wanted, and today when I checked my bank account they also addedtheir own amount for a tip. I did not authorize anything except the amount for the food, because we were leaving cash. Beware! Iwill never return to this establishment! Read more

We love Mexican food so we were excited to try a new place. We?ve never been here and I can honestly say will definitely be... coming back! The food was fantastic! The pollo loco was very good. Every time we try a new place we always order the shrimpcocktail if it?s on the menu. The shrimp cocktail did not disappoint. Great atmosphere. Great service. They have craft beer andsignature cocktails. The entire experience was wonderful. Read more
The food was really good. I had fish tacos. Currently the menu is online only so that is a disadvantage. The bathrooms were... clean. They had really good Salsa and chips. Really cute decorations in the restaurant. Plus I would ask to be seated in thepatio, in the heat it's nice and cool. Read more

Rating Schererville against Munster. Munster gets higher ranks on food quality, atmosphere & service. Ordered appetizer prior to... meal & drinks and it arrived as dinner was being served. Called prior to arriving and was told that lunch option was availableall day. Online menu showed lunch options but was provided dinner menu when seated. Arrived before 4pm and when I quizzedwaitress she stated I could only order dinner. Will continue to patronize Munster even though they have a mandatory tip. Read more
