Reviews for Pho Queen in Schenectady, NY
The person who I assume is the owner is very sweet and makes you feel welcome. Unfortunately, she doesn?t have enough help in... the restaurant. On a Saturday night our whole meal took 2 hours, when there was no one else inside. The food was pretty good, but I don?t feel the price is warranted. The bubble tea was not good. The bubbles were hard, and there was almost no flavor inthe actual drink. I wish I could give this place a high rating, but my experience just wasn?t the best. Read more
Masama curry was wonderful. Service perfect. Can't give 5 stars because my throat closed up and eyes hurt as soon as I walked... in, as if they were burning out oven cleaner. Oh, and no broth/soup available that visit. Read more
Embarrassingly plain pad Thai. No flavor, and most definitely re-microwaved. My ?green tea? boba was powdered green tea flavor... chalk and tasted like watered milk ($5) and the bubbles were hard. I brought back all food practically untouched and was refusedeven a partial refund. Couldn?t even force myself to eat it. Would rather just toss that $17 in the trash. These workers andcooks take great pride in their business?if you want to open a Thai restaurant, go pick up some microwaveable frozen pf Chang?sfrom target, heat those up and you?ll be solid. Once you have peoples money, you?re set! Read more
I am a regular customer, more or less have tried most of the entrees in the menu. However, my favorite for appetizers are the... Crab Rangoon, and the chicken dumplings, which are must try. I usually order the Thai Iced Tea for the drinks, you can addbubbles, but I personally am not bubble drink kinda person. For the main, Drunken Noodles with Shrimps, if you have good tastefor spicy food, worth a try. Also for the deserts, both fresh mango with sticky rice and the fried ice cream are ????/????I donot say this often but the service is satisfyingly good compared to other places. Hands down the best Thai cuisine out inSchenectady. Period! Tips: You get two complementary spring rolls when you place an order during lunch hours. Read more
Waiter insisted on my drunken noodle to be hot/spicy; though I asked it to be medium/mild. Not a good experience:(

Simply amazing, from the service to the food. We saw the place as we were driving to another restaurant we usually frequent, but... talking to someone we almost got in an accident with, convinced us to try the place out as they said they eat there at least 2xa week. The decor is nice and unique to a thai/vietnamese restaurant, but very nice, though the music could have been muted abit for my taste. The fried spring rolls were some of the best I've had anywhere, and the pad thai was subtly spiced instead ofoverbearing in peanut flavor, and I loved the fact that they crushed the peanuts pretty fine compared to most places justsmashing them. I forgot what soup I ordered but it was the 4th soup on the menu, and it was perfect, great heat, depth ofcharacter, and the rice noodles were perfect. Read more
I've been going to Pho Queen for years now. I my opinion it's the best Thai food in the Capital district. The restaurant is... small but quite nice. The service is good. The food I'd great! I always order the drunken noodles. I love spicy foods. Read more
