Loved it. Coming from the NYC all the restaurants up here in the capital district suck and the women have funky attitudes. This... place was different the lady behind the counter was very pleasant, I asked for no legs and she made it happen. The food wasamazing. I been here twice once for chicken soup the other for brown stew chicken and tasted just as good as ever. I wouldrecommend this place to anyone that is looking for authentic Jamaican food. I will never buy food from this place. I asked the lady behind the counter for a menu and when I reach to grab it she threw it... on the counter very rudely and walked away to greet a Jamaican couple with a warm smile and welcoming hello. I?m AfricanAmerican and they treated me like I?m a foreigner in my own country. The food is way over priced and was bland and tasteless. . The white rice is stale ricearonie , the goat curry is decent but I doubt their food is fresh. The roti is not roti by a long... shot it?s also stale and looks like it?s been on the floor with black stuff on it. I?ve gotten beef patty and coco bread andthey put the patty in the coco bread she just threw my food in separate bags. They say if the lady at the Jamaican spot is rudethen the food slaps, not here. Let?s start with the very small amount of baked mac & cheese that cost $4. It was horrible. The beef patty was burnt to hell.... The coco bread could brake a window. The stew chicken was good with the rice. The curry goat was good but the basmati rice wasoff. Read more
I am a loyal customer to you guys I would normally get me curry chicken wit rice& peas but I wanted to try your curry goat roti... and y?all played yourselves tonight. Why is that I received a pan full of bones with little to no meat with my roti rolled upinside of a brown bag !? As a Trinidadian I am highly upset and disgusted the way my food was prepared it showed that no onecared to prepare my food and I am spending over 40$ in this place. Read more
