Food was good but not great, which I would expect for the money we paid. Desserts were again good but not great. Maybe they just... had a bad day. Service was good but too many people were helping us and when they came with the plates out they were auctioning.Is it that difficult to tell the second waiter who's eating what so they don't have to ask. I've seen it at many goodrestaurants anyway. It was nice of them to turn up the heat because it was cold when we got there and we were all eating withour coats. Hopefully it was just a bad day. Very good NY strip and Ribeye. The truffle fries were lacking in truffle flavor just tasted like shoestring fries. Brussel... sprouts were average but the gouda mashed potatoes were a winner. Our waiter provided great service. Read more
My pork chop and Cajun potatoes au gratin looked so good I almost dared not cut into it. It all tasted as good as it looked. The... cream brulee was excellent as well. I realized halfway through my dinner that I had come in just minutes before closing time.The restaurant was empty except for myself, my server, a busboy and the host. I'm guessing that I made their night a long one,but they were all very pleasant. The dinning room was quite nice, though a little dark for my taste. Overall it was a verypleasant experience. My wife and I decided to dine here for her 31st birthday, and I also received a promotion for work. Firstly, the atmosphere was... great! The service was impeccable, the staff were able to make wonderful suggestions regarding food and wine, and knew when toallow you to enjoy your meal. We had the prosciutto with mozzarella as a starter which had so much flavor! For mains I had theNew York strip and my wife had the fillet Mignon, both were cooked perfectly and honestly were probably the best cuts of meat wehave ever eaten. Sides are generous portions, we ordered the baked potato, grilled asparagus and green spinach, they were allamazing however the only small comment is that the asparagus was a little too salty. From the moment we arrived at Morton's, we were treated like royalty ! Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. She really... knows the menu and described the dishes very well. The manager also came around to make sure everything was good and that wewere happy with our dinner. The dining area was very clean and well organized. I'm so glad we chose Morton's for our anniversarydinner. We will definitely come back to Morton's. Read more
Good food, high price. Great service. Old-fashioned vibe with dress code. To get into detail on the items we ordered: - each... table gets a round loaf of bread. It was excellent. We ate two! So soft and warm. - the bacon steak is a must try, although at$20 it’s a bit pricey. - filet mignon was very good, but kind of drowned in sauce. - asparagus was good - baked potato wasokay, kind of dry. The cheese and butter helped. We would have preferred mashed potatoes but they came with sour cream thatcould not be removed. - chocolate lava cake with ice cream was excellent. Literally melts in your mouth. Small though, sodon’t expect it to be enough for two. The service was excellent. The host wished us a happy anniversary when he saw that onour reservation. Our waitress took a picture of us and printed it out, unprompted. She took pics with our phones as well. Thedessert was provided on the house. Overall, the price is what knocks this down one star for me. We got one of everything listedabove, one more filet mignon, and a drink, and the total was over $200. Read more
perfect wedding dinner I could have asked for! It was unforgettable, very accommodating, and overall outstanding experience!... They went above and beyond with our visit. They accommodated my large party, took and provided in house photos which they framedfor us to keep, personalized our menus and gave us complimentary dessert which was delicious! The food was outstanding, serverswere so sweet, accommodated and anticipated our needs !! The atmosphere and experience was overall elite! They even customizedthe menus and gave us memories to last a lifetime! Thank you so much for making my wedding dinner the best we could have askedfor! Well done Morton’s.
