Green Joe Coffee is a sustainable newer coffee shop offering a huge selection of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies and drinks.... They fresh grind their coffee. I ordered the lavender matcha. They had a great idea of offering avocado toast which I had atlunchtime. All ingredients on the avocado toast were fresh and flavorful. Service was fast and friendly too. They also offer avast array of really nice baked goods including but not limited to huge scones, variety muffins, filled croissants and more!There is plenty of places to sit, relax and work too. awesome little shop!! The drive-thru service is speedy and friendly, the patio has a few small tables with umbrellas for sunny... days, and the space inside is a beautiful place to read/work/study that is filled with natural light. There is a variety ofreasonably priced food options that accommodate dietary restrictions and different tastes. A must visit! Read more
This place was amazing when they first opened. Unfortunately, I see the millennials have taken over. Today I stopped for an iced... tea. I asked for it to be sweetened with 2 lemon slices. The employee asked me ?you want a whole lemon in it?? I mean seriouslythat?s a real question? I had to literally explain that I wanted 2 slices of lemon inside the tea. I get the tea-no lemon. Theemployee then tells me she took it upon herself to squeeze the lemon in the tea ( with no gloves on). I again ask for the twolemon slices. You can see from the photo, what an extremely hard concept this was to understand. Thanks for reminding me why Istopped coming here. *See the response below. Miscommunication? I?m sorry but anyone that really thinks a customer wants awhole lemon in their iced tea maybe shouldn?t be working with the public. The fact that they didn?t even address that employeesare touching food without gloves on just goes to show what this place values. A decent coffee joint when you want a good cup of Joe. The workers were inviting and knowledgeable, a nice environment inside,... and quick service. I only got the coffee (cold brew), but it was very enjoyable. The food looked really good and a decentamount of options to try. I'll be back to try those options, but for now this is a good place for me to get coffee that's not anational chain. Read more
I love this place, every time i come i get the iced lavender matcha and it?s delicious im literally obsessed with matcha and i... love theirs. I ordered the turtle joe & a lemon ricotta avocado toast they were both just okay but some of the drinks I saw being made as I... waited on my order looked really fun. The staff were very friendly & helpful. I sat at a table on a Thursday morning and had avery bright & comfortable experience. Lots of stimulating art and plants yet the green is also calming. Very Cute Coffee Place to go to.I was in Schaumburg are, so decided to stop by this place. Ambiance- very cozy atmosphere.... plenty of painting were hanging on the right wall, which were for sale. Not sure if it from different artist or from the owner.Left wall has a beautiful abstract pattern, which drew my attention. they have local artist line up ceramic stuff in onecorner. They also have their store printed tshirts and sweatshirts you can buy from there. Coffee and food - They had plentyof coffee and snacking options. I got Feta avocado toast along with their signature latte- turtle Joe. it was a perfect match.turtle joe was amazing, worth a try. they have different tea, coffee, inusef energy drinks. They do provide subsitute for theregular milk. They do ask for any allergies before finalizing the order. it was colder evening when I went there but in Summer Iwant to try their smoothies. Size of avocado toast is big, easily taken as meal or as a shareable. Staff- was very friendly andwas able to answer all the questions. Atmosphere- Clean and good vibes. some people were sitting to enjoy coffee while otherssitting and working and some studying. Noise level- Low. drive thru avaiable. Will go back again to for sure.
