Stopped by for drinks before dinner. This was the first time I had been here. We sat in bar area. Crowd- it was very busy and... crowded. Noise- high level of noise Drinks- ordered weekend special as suggested by bartender and said that they are reallyreally good. But there were too sweet. But I still liked it but definitely not my favorite. Staff- very friendly and thoroughbut since they were busy, seemed to be short staffed. Ambiance- very nice ambiance. First time here. Very nice casual place. Our server Carlos was kept busy on a full Thursday night. A good selection of beers and... spirits. The meatloaf was awesome and the salads are huge. Wished we had saved room and time for dessert. Definitely must comeback soon! Read more
This has been a staple for me since it opened so many years ago in the Schaumburg area. The atmosphere and decor is upscale,... and the staff have been professional and nice every time we go. Went here for lunch today. First time either of us has been to GC. We both ordered different salads as well as fish entrees. The... food was very good! They have a very limited beer list so I tried their house American Lager and it was surprisingly good (I'mnot a craft beer guy). Server was very attentive and nice. Will return! Highly recommended! Anything chicken was dry, French fries were soggy and oily, burgers were very nice, desert was amazing.
Great place to link up with friends and have a drink or two. The food was good. The specials were awesome.
We came for dinner and the experience and food were good! We were about 15 minutes early for our reservation and the hostess was... still able to accommodate us. Our server was attentive, but did not rush us, and the food runner was helpful and grabbed what weneed right away. We had grilled salmon and chicken tuscano. Wow has this place gone downhill. Almost an hour wait for 2 burgers. Used to love this place. Unless the quality improves, I... won’t be back. I ate because I was hungry but I was grossed out by the garnishes given with my burger. See photos to see whatI mean. Who gives the end of a tomato, wilty lettuce and the part of onions that you throw away to put on a burger? Yuck. Serverwas nice but that was about the only good thing. Very disappointing. Read more
