Great place, the food is excellent, good beer selection and there?s a lot of history in that place.
This was a great old tavern to visit. There is a lot of history here. This place has been running since the mid 1700?s. The food... was great, the service was very good and the bartender was very personable and warm. I def recommend coming here to anyone whowants good food and drinks set to a centuries old theme! A fair meal but I thought it was a little pricey. The online menu also did not match the actual menu on site due to something... such as filet mignon not being offered or taco salad. One of the people in our group had their burger very overcooked. Thewaitress did offer to bring us another one and took the price off our bill. Great little pub with even better food and service. We went for lunch and the Club Sandwich and Rachel were fantastic. (I had... ordered a Rubin but received a Rachel instead but I am not complaining nor disappointed) I usually take photos of our mealsbefore but we devoured the sandwiches so the accompanying photo is all I have... A tasty dining experience! My family of five decided to stop here for dinner on a whim (and a quick research of Google-reviewed... restaurants with 4.3 stars and up), and we were not disappointed. We have three kids, ages 9, 7, and 6 weeks. Our older two werethrilled with their mozzarella moons and mini pierogies (we don't eat out much and let them order whatever they wat as long asthey eat it). It isn't on the printed menu, but they do have a kids' menu, just ask your friendly server. Our server, Jenna, wasan absolute doll and such a pleasant person! She was prompt, courteous, and super sweet to our kids. The food didn't disappoint,either - thank you, kitchen staff! I ordered their house meatloaf with side salad and mashed potatoes. The meatloaf had adelicious, sweet bacon glaze, and the mashed potatoes were REAL mashed potatoes - no fake taters here! My husband has a veryrestrictive diet and had no issues ordering; he had a Reuben sandwich without the bread, Cole slaw, and sautéed broccolini.
