My husband and I came from Florida to the Century Inn. First of all, the hospitality was fantastic. We stayed the night and... our room was above amazing. The chef was fantastic and everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. I grewup in the area, and as a child I have always wanted to stay there, so when I finally had the opportunity, it was more than myexpectations could ever imagine. I would recommend for anyone reading this, you need to take the time to absolutely stay. Icertainly will be back and I am going to try to make this an annual stop on my vacation list. Read more

Worth the unplanned stop! Built in 1794 this beautiful Inn is rich with history maintaining much of the original architecture... and set in picturesque landscape along America's first national highway. We stopped for food and a restroom on our way west fromDC and ended up with an adventure! Read more

Wedding reception: The Century Inn is simply the most amazing venue for a wedding! My daughter was recently married, and we... had the ceremony, dinner and reception at the Inn. April and her husband were fantastic; they assisted my daughter and me withall the details. They were extremely responsive and patient! The guest were in awe of the gazebo setting, birds chirping,surrounded by lush greenery, the wedding that every bride dreams of! The food was simply superb... we hosted local guests , andout of town visitors , and everyone couldn't stop complementing the food,the historic beauty of Inn, and the fairy talesetting. God was gracious to provide perfect weather, so it was truly an unforgettable wedding day! I wish that I could givea 10 star review! Read more

Absolutely beautiful. We had lunch there. The shrimp and grits were great. The Caprese salad was very yummy.

We had the best stay there last weekend! The spacious room was peaceful and spotlessly clean. The corner fireplace/stove just... added to the ambiance as did the walk out patio overlooking the gazebo. The friendly staff was attentive to every need. Weenjoyed the local beer on tap at the bar and a delicious dinner in the original kitchen room that had a fireplace large enoughto stand in. The salmon was the best we have ever had and the steak was super tender and so tasty. Breakfast was included inour stay and was amazing. Our stay was a step back in time with all the luxuries of today. Read more
