Reviews for Vindaloo Indian Cuisine in Scarborough, ON
It's my first time visiting Vindaloo Indian Cuisine and I absolutely loved the butter chicken. I highly recommend this cuisine.
Initially we had planned to go to Banjara's in Danforth, but they had only take out, so we'll go there once they setup the... restaurant for Dine-In. I always prefer Dine-In. We then googled restaurants in the area & Vindaloo Indian Cuisine popped up.Coincidentally, my wife had come here with my (late) aunt over 9 years ago & they had loved the food. So, off we went for anearly dinner (6pm). - Excellent & Courteous service - Deliciously prepared food - Good ambience. If you haven't tried thisrestaurant, you should definitely do so. We had their special- Chicken Vindaloo (motherinlaw loved it), Lamb Kadai Gosht (wifeloved it) & Matar Paneer (son loved it) & the Butter Naans ofcourse! And me? ????I enjoyed everything....whowouldn't! Importantly the server checked the level of spice we wanted when placing the order & though I love spicy, I asked formild for my wife & MIL :-) Read more

We went here yesterday after spending the whole day at Scarborough Bluffs, I was craving for some spicy Indian food together... with my boyfriend. It's my birthday so it's a YES DAY for me???? • I love the ambiance, it's a little warm maybe becauseoutside is way too hot and humid -- maybe increasing the AC isn't bad to as well. • The food was GREAT and although it's abit pricey compared to other Indian resto especially around Malton or Brampton, but Scarborough has a lot of Indian restaurantsas well. Again, I know that everything is expensive right now so it's acceptable. Malai Kofta for 14.99 ( if I remember itcorrectly ) and Plain Naan ( 2.99 each ). • The people that helps us are all AMAZING - very warm and kind! • Somethingthat I do not like is the proper lighting on the way downstairs in the washroom. I have to touch the wall and trying to findthe on/off button like I am playing in a escape room or something - quite funny but honestly it could have been better. To keepthe ambiance, they can put a night light too so that customers can able to see the washroom and the stairs too. ???? Read more

Best hidden authentic Indian resturant in the area ! Food: great flavors with good portion for price.food tasted fresh and made... on the spot. The Naan bread was big in size. My only complaint is that we ordered mild and it was still a little spicy, if youcan't handle spice at all I would think twice (aka my dad) Atmosphere: as soon as you walk in the aromas open up your appetite. The seating is supper romantic. Service: friendly and polite. They were patient in answering my questions . In the picturesyou will see : Butter chicken - mild tasted very sweet Safron basmati rice - full of flavour Dal makhani - mild but a littlespicy still delicious Garlic Naan- good size made in house They gifted us a mango pudding ? I assume it is kheer I will beordering again ! Read more

Great butter chicken and nann. Great service. Told the server to be mild on butter chicken. It was really good. We also ordered... recommended mango lassi. Nice one. Didnt like chicken briyani as it was spicy and too much of paste curry for my taste. Read more
