I went to Tropical Nights Restaurant with my family for my anniversary. We were vacationing from USA. It was the first time we... been there as I goggled the restaurant- I am so glad we did - it was one of the best experience ever. We were seated on thepatio, there was live music, the atmosphere was just right and the waitress, the guards and all the workers were veryaccommodating. I would totally go back there with my family. Ive been here a few times in the past and have always enjoyed it here. My last visit was different. I went to hang out with... good friends I havent seen since 2019. It was great to see my brothers and the vibe/energy at tropical nights was amazing. Itwas very busy, the energy on the patio was electric; the dj was amazing. Pure wicked tunes all night. Our waitress was awesometoo. She was very fun and friendly. The rum punch was delicious and had a serious punch ???????? and the food we had from theBBQ was delish. ???? Very good drink buckets but food wasn't good. We ordered 2 stag buckets and the tropical special Lo Mein. The Lo Mein was... sweetie and the fried chicken on the top tasted dry and brittle like it was in the fryer for waaay too long. Customer servicewas great. Though the DJ & Waitstaff were deserving of ?????. The music was GOOD! This being my 2nd invite to hang for a drink with... something to eat, everything was fine UNTIL we were first reminded AFTER our 4th guest arrival that there was a 2 hour limit toour party. We were NOT warned of this at the beginning. IMO, the Management felt the 2× bukets of 5 Heineken + 2x servingschicken wings was worthy of a 2 hour seat at our spot; only to have our waitress remind us 3 times, that we were allowed only 2hours! We felt rushed to finish our drinks, and the person who arrived late forced to rush through their meal. There were emptytables not occupied and guests who were already there prior to our arrival, not asked relinquish their table. I very rarelygive 3 ???, but time it was fitting being told 3 times within short intervals that there a 2 hour limit to our table of four. Iguess that a few rounds of top-shelf Hennessey buys you more time. We tipped our waitress well; no need to blame her formanagement err in judgment. Read more
