This is the 3rd time I have been missing something from my order. Got home and discovered I received only 1 of my 2 appetizers.... Last time I ordered takeout they only sent 1 pie out of 2. The time before that they forgot my mashed potatoes. This time alsoI,was looking for quarter rack of ribs and was told they no longer have it. Asked for a salad and they said no lettuce. Reallyridiculous service. I called to complain and they offered me 2 free appetizers. Could have sent a driver with my missing itemsor refunded me? Always offering a free appetizer or desert is not good. Will never order from Swiss Chalet again especiallyBrimley location. Read more
The literal worst Swiss/ Harvey's location. I will describe what it's like to go in so that you don't have to. When you walk in... two employees will stare at you super weird but won't address you, then a third employee will come and take your order, but getit wrong. When they 'fix it' theyll just try to charge you more while saying its not their fault. THEN they won't give you yourdrink even tho you said which one you wanted multiple times. So after leaving and driving back for your drink, when you walk inthe same two employees will just stare at you and the third employee will just laugh at you when you say they forgot your drink,before going to the back and getting it. Head office needs to visit this unprofessional, subpar customer service place. The floors were wet and i almost fell. No signs... the entire floor is wet. Kind of wished i fell because then I could have sued them. The waitress came and asked me what I want, i said please give me a min. She came back after 20min. I sat and waited. Red wine was served in an absolutely filthy filthyunclean wine glass. Finger prints inside and outside. Not impressed at all with store, and waitress. Read more
My favorite Chicken Pot Pie has changed for the worse. At lunch time (12noon to 1 pm) I would have expected the place to be very... busy, but all of 4 tables, including my party were occupied. The only saving grace was our very polite greeter, who also was ourserver. The other 3 in my party said their meal was good, but all of our meals fries were over done. Swiss Chalet has alwaysbeen one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal, but now I am not sure, but I will not discredit them on this one experience. Read more
My oh my has the size of the chicken shrunk. You use to get a nice size piece of chicken. Overall it tasted good but the size is... not worth the price. Will only purchase if I have coupons. Read more
it was a cold snowy evening, we decided to eat out. Specially something from the Canadian cusine. we visited Swiss chalet, we... are four and the restaurant was quite busy and occupied. The ambience was great and carried a fresh look. We ordered shrimprice and chicken and some sweet potato fries. we also ordered white meat chicken with Ceaser salad. i tasted almost every dishand enjoyed the meal. The shrimps was well cooked and marinated the chicken though lacked the flavours a bit. overall theexperience was good and felt worth a try. Read more
For this review, I am making comments regarding my visit to the Harvey's connected to this Swiss Chalet location. Its a very... clean and modern location. Service is very good and greeted by the staff with a smile despite being busy. Order was fulfilledwithin and out the door in ten minutes. Burger and fries were fresh, hot and made according to the garnishments I wanted.. Read more
