Compare to the other noodles restaurant this one is more healthy and not oily. Food quality are all good. Will recommended.

Toronto temperature has been pretty good for Autumn lately. One night, I walked in Shi Miao Dao because 1) menu looked good and... 2) all the other noodle places had a long wait. And I was glad! I made the right choice. Shi Miao Dao actually means "here in10 sec" in Chinese. Although our orders didn't arrive 10 secs right after, I admit the food was in front of us in less than5mins. I ordered the House Special Malay Laksa Rice Noodle Soup and also got to try the Original Crossing Bridge Rice NoodleSoup. The Malay Laksa flavour was nice and the spice did hit me, but it wasn't too spicy given I can't take too much spiceanyway. The Original also tasted warm and soothing. It had more flavour than other places I've been. As for the ingredientsmixed in, it was a nice balance of meat and veggies. Free refills on noodles too. The staff speaks Mandarin but verycomfortable and swift with orders in English. Lastly, I just love their decor - wooden interiors with two pointillism-like largewall arts. They are gorgeous. We ordered the tomato beef brisket and ??????. Both soup taste are decent, and everyone should slow down to enjoy the soup and... noodles because the soup was really hot. I’m disappointed at the bean sprout in the second photo. The meat in the Malaysiansoup was too dry. Read more

The English name is just the Pinyin of the Chinese name. It means that it takes you to Yunnan, southwestern China in seconds.... The rice noodles they serve are local specialty food in Yunnan. Ordered their fish maw and chicken soup rice noodles and porkstomach and chicken soup rice noodles. There were both authentic, rich in flavors and in ingredients. My go to noodle soup place! I usually get the mushroom rice noodle soup, flavourful and vegetarian friendly.

Clean environment, friendly staff, reasonable price, it should have gotten an easy 5-star from me. However, maybe it is just my... taste, or the ingredients for that day, I find that their food to be very mediocre. The rice noodles are mushy, and all otheringredients taste… differently than they should. I will post this as a 4-star now and check back to see whether things haveimproved. Read more

First time trying this place. We ordered TWO orders of the chicken gristle, $16, and this is what we got. One small container =... two orders is honestly not worth the price. Yunshang does a better job and tastes better. Read more

100% recommend this place! Noodles were delicious and very flavourful. Beef brisket noodles are to die for. The prices are very... reasonable. Inside is clean and well decorated. Service is friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning! Read more
