This place is below average. I got the large chicken shawarma wrap and chicken poutine. The wrap was very stale and chicken... had no flavour. It was definitely too small for a large, and not worth the price. The poutine had no cheese curds, and a tinyamount of gravy. They just used a cheese topping they use for the wraps, and added tzatziki sauce on top. The fries were decentat least. Overall a negative experience and I won’t be returning. Overall I was pleased with the two dinners I bought. One was chicken shawarma and one was beef kabobs. They all come with... sauces, roast potatoes, rice, lettuce and a host of toppings like onions, pickled turnip strips, pickles, hot banana peppers andso on. My only problem is that the beef kabobs was just pieces of hamburgers. If you want more authentic meat you will have togo to Mr. Greek. Read more

In a word, HEALTHY. Fast food isn't always healthy, so I feel good about going to Pita Land and the West Hill location (Kingston... Road just east of Morningside) is excellent. Lots of choices for ingredients and their menu is delicious. If there's someone infront of you, it's worth the wait. We've had Chicken Shawarma more than a few times. Excellent food, fair pricing and excellentservice. Who can ask for more? (My advice: The sign says, "choose your own ingredients." SPEAK UP and don't say "everything"unless you know what that means.
