Was really looking forward to this establishment. Paid 42$ to have ALL the Taziki and salad dressing missing. Even asked if the... extra Taziki I ordered AND paid for was there, was told everything was covered...WIDLY inaccurate. Also, the most BLAND Greekfood I think I have ever experienced. ZERO red sauce, just dry a** rice and potatoes. HUUUUGE let down. Didn't even have saladdressing or Taziki for 2 people to enjoy after 42$ spent. So good. I tried it out today upon the recommendation of a work colleague and now I found another lovely surprise in Scarborough... after all. Nice portions, good value and most of all fresh delicious made to order take-out. As much as you are disappointedwith fast food food food court greek, this is the same price point with added pride of preparation. Read more
Food was delicious! Very generous portions, I got a salmon platter with an extra portion of salmon made with mixed vegetables... and Greek salad side! Salmon was so tender best salmon I?ve had in a while, right off the grill! I love how instead of gettingrice or potatoes I could opt for a healthier option and it still being delicious I?m officially addicted. Much much better quality souvlaki on a pita than any fast food style greek chain restaurant. I was not sure how good this place... was but it was so close by that I thought I would give it a shot and have a simple chicken on a pita. Now that does not soundlike it could be screwed up but trust me it happens all the time at the chain greek restaurants. The chains often have premade frozen souvlaki that they slap on the grill or flat top and it comes out pretty rubbery and overcooked. The Real Greekis indeed pretty damn greek... the chicken was moist and not overcooked and certainly not rubbery. Pita itself was standardbut at least not burnt. The tomatoes are typically barely ripe but at least these were not so tasteless. I thought it was agreat small souvlaki on a pita. I found it a bit of a shock in a mall to get such good food cooked fresh that was notmassively overpriced. In fact it is very very reasonably priced. There's a small and large souvlaki on a pita and both are wellunder $10. I certainly would love to order a full souvlaki meal from them which includes the rice and potatoes if you want. I often decide how good a greek restaurant is by the greek potatoes. But if this is anything like their pita souvlaki I am sureit will be great. Also reasonably priced. Too bad no website or online presence. They are tucked away in the back of a mallbut are certainly worthy of high praise based on my simple meal. Read more
