For the last year I've been on a pizza rampage, trying dozens of places all across the GTA and putting on a solid 20-30lbs in... the process. That extra weight is worth it for when I come across gems like this place. The sauce has a very unique anddistinct flavor - reminds me of the homemade pasta sauce your Nonna makes. Dough and cheese is also on point, which you can tellright away just from looking at it. This is one of those rare places where you could just have a cheese pizza and be verysatisfied because of how fresh and tasty the ingredients are. After trying most of the top pizza spots in the city, I'd have tosay Mark's is definitely amongst them. I'd wager to say that if he had a coal or wood fired oven, his pizzas would claim the #1spot. My only criticism was that the pizza didn't have a crisp/crunch all the way through (only on the crust). Will ask for welldone next time and see if that makes a difference, but without the right oven it's impossible to get the perfectundercarriage. See you again soon! Read more
