The store is fairly new, so I had high hopes, but the ice cream I got was disappointing. I understand that businesses need to... save costs to stay afloat, but the single scoop was on the smaller side, and there weren't many toppings. I'm fully aware thatthere's usually a gap between expectations vs. reality when you look at in-store photos, but what was advertised as an explosionof cookies/cookie dough was REALLY misleading. The guy working there also barely mixed the ice cream on the slab; at otherstores, they take the time to load the toppings and really mix them together, but this was not the case here. I could understandif it was busy and the goal was to get to other customers quickly, but the store was completely empty. A little effort or moreenthusiastic service would have gone a long way. Not worth $8 for a poorly made ice cream concoction. You're better off goingto McDonald's in the same plaza or hitting up another ice cream chain like Baskin Robbins or Dairy Queen. Read more

Went with my 10 year old & My mom on Ice Cream Day as my daughter had an offer for a free cone. Older man working here was very... rude. I'm guessing he was the owner/ manager. He kept repeating that only 1 free cone per family. All 3 of us had alreadystated that only my daughter had the offer. Don't think we will ever go back to this location again. We live only 5 minutesaway from the store. We will go to another location if we ever go back to Marble Slab. Very very disappointed. The youngeremployee was ok. Read more

I was disappointed with my last visit at this location (Parkway mall). It seems to be going downhill in terms of quality. My... 'single' scoop was barely a scoop of ice cream. The thing was melting away and they gave it to me anyways. Also, on my way homeI noticed that what I believe to be the cone had a stinky smell to it. Like a very fishy smell. It was disgusting. I had tothrow it out. What a waste of $6.99. I'm not coming back. I will go to the Markham location next time, better quality. Read more

Lovely little shop with its own entrance so you don't have to go through the mall. The service is always excellent and we love... dropping by for a special treat and trying out new flavour combinations! They also carry premixed pints, cakes, and ice creamsandwiches that all look amazing! Read more

I wasn?t expecting to buy anything today after popping my head into this dessert franchise from the entrance of Parkway... Mall. Suddenly behind the counter came a welcoming voice from Jay! Well, he excitedly told me that everything in the store wasfreshly made and that Marble Slab came north from its Texas roots. Now what should I get for my first visit ever to a MarbleSlab Creamery? Scanning the menu board I chose a $8.99 Banana Split; a whole banana flanked with vanilla, strawberry andchocolate ice cream. It came with pineapple chunks on the vanilla, strawberry chunks on the strawberry and chocolate syrup onthe chocolate ice cream. Top the creation with whipped cream and add a maraschino cherry. I could add or substitute item(s)for an additional charge(s). Give it to me straight my maiden trip here Jay! Wow, it was a terrific and deliciousdessert. You know your product.
