Reviews for Jollibee in Scarborough, ON
After work, my fiancé and I went to Jollibee for dinner; he ordered 2 pieces of chicken joy with mashed potato and additional... rice, and I ordered 1 piece of chicken joy with palabok. When our order arrived, we were disappointed by the appearance of thechicken, which was not crispy at all, but I didn't mind because I was looking forward to the palabok. As I was mixing it, Inoticed that there was not enough sauce on it, so I went up to the counter and showed it to them, asking for a sauce, but theycharged me for it, which I didn't understand. Should I pay extra for the palabok to taste good? Not coming back to this branch Read more
Heard about the hype over the years and found some sitting on the stove when I came home and it was ok but nothing... extraordinary. I will have to try it again one day in store hot and fresh to finalize this review as I?m sure it could deserveanother star but at room temperature it was just average. Spicy Chicken was better than mild, did have some crunch still anddecent flavour. Fries were ok and the gravy was so so. Banana pie was edible but I?ll be sure to try the mango next time. Read more
Nothing special. Heard a lot of good things but was not impressed. Regular spices chicken was very bland, I'd take KFC any day... instead. Pretty logo though and the cashiers are very nice. Perhaps I'll take their pasta next time, just for experience sake. Read more
Come for the chicken sandwiches. That?s the most I can say for jollibee. They are a little expensive for the product they sell... but the chicken sandwiches are the best I?ve had and good value. Their chicken sandwiches stand on their own and they don?tpretend to be someone else?s style of sandwich. The spicy could be spicer but both are very good. I had the Hawaiian burger, itwasn?t to my taste a little to sweet. The fries are just ok, a little soggy. The pies are over priced but the peach mango one isvery good, would be better at $1.50 not $3.50. It?s the same size if not smaller than a McDonald?s apple pie. Over all thelocation is always busy, the people are as friendly and as helpful as they can be. The app makes ordering better or it?s a 10 to20 minute wait for food. Read more
This Jollibee location is always busy in regards to a lot of customers come to this location as I do as well. I live in Montreal... and I always come to this location whenever I'm visiting Toronto. The staff is always so friendly when taking my order and theoverall experience is worth the drive from Montreal. I always enjoy the Chicken, Pineapple Juice and the Peach Mango Pie. Read more
Pro tip. Go for dinner at 5pm. I was there at 5pm and there was only two people in front of me. Couldn't decide what we wanted... so we went next door and came back around 530pm. That 30 minutes meant a lineup out the door. Food was tasty. It was my firsttime at this location. Staff was effective. You could tell they were a little stressed at the huge lineup. Definitely a thrivingbusiness so you know they are doing well. We tried their dessert items. Banana pie/ peach mango pie/ and the pineapplerefresher. All very tasty. The peach mango had a similar vibe to the apple pie from McD. The chicken was just the right kind ofcrispy. And they offer hot and not hot options. Still need to try the famous spaghetti. Read more
I ordered the family combo (10 pieces chicken with 3 large sides). The staffs were very nice to split my chicken in two separate... buckets (spicy vs non spicy). The Chicken was more fatty than other fried chicken joints (KFC and Popeyes). The fries and mashedpotatoes were good. I was hoping to try their Mango Peach pies but it was not available when I was there. There was a bit ofwait to get inside the restaurant to order but once I ordered it was a 3 minutes wait to get my foods. Read more
I had a takeout order from this location. Since I work in an industry that starts very early in the morning, this location is... ideal since there are not many restaurants that open early. The first thing I have to say... overpriced. The food is decent fastfood but I think it is ridiculously expensive. I know that a business is opened to generate profits but... when I visit a sitdown restaurant and order a bowl of steamed rice, it may be $1.50 - $2.00, here it's $3.25 + tax for a CUP of rice... at a fastfood joint. There are some things that you can probably only get here and are worth trying, like the pineapple quencher and thepeach mango pie but all of the other food is average. The chicken is not that flavorful, nor is the beefsteak (ground meat inhamburger form served on rice), the Filipino style spaghetti and palabok (Filipino fried noodles) are as expected, fast foodonly meant to fill you quickly. Again, the menu here is overpriced... my meal came to $60 and included 6 pieces of chicken, 6thin hamburger patties and 3 pies and an added $3.25 cup of rice... yes, you heard me... FOR $60!!! I would not recommend thisplace unless (like us) this is the only place open. I think the prices are based on the whole trend of Jollibee but if you arelooking for a delicious and reasonably priced meal... this is not going to be the place. Read more
