Excellent meal. Lots of food and very delicious. The man running the restaurant is very friendly and a wonderful cook.
The food is great and the portions are awesome. Best place around for breakfast. You will not leave hungry.
Decided to give this place a try and regret doing so. I ordered Halibut and chips but I did NOT get halibut. This fish I got... I'm guessing would have been Haddock, I'm not a person who can be fooled with Halibut. The other thing was that this food wassuper greasy, smelled like old grease as well. Very shady indeed to try and deceive people, I will never return and wouldn'trecommend anyone eating there unless you like greasy food and deception. Read more

Service : 4/5 Nice and friendly service, and there is a ?Jerry? in the kitchen. Food & Beverages : 3/5 Fordine-in customers they have made in house tartar sauce and for take out they have packet tartar sauce. Tho I wish they providedmore tartar sauce for the dine-in. Only had a small portioned amount as shown in the snapshot I've included. I like slatheringmy golden deep fried fish with tartar sauce. I ordered the dine-in special ?2 pieces of Cod & chips? comes with coleslaw and alemon wedge. I declined the coleslaw since it is made from cabbage and cabbage is a controlled item with managing gout. Thecod fish itself was okay, my issue was the salt level in the batter. It was too much salt for my tastes, I had to drench the 2pieces of cod in malt vinegar to reduce the salty taste. The fries were cut fresh, but seemed a bit to dark in color, leadingme to think that the fryer oil had not been changed in some time. They do serve other items as well. Breakfast items, burgersand sandwiches. Value for money spent : this would depend on what you order. For the 2 piece Cod and Chips and say it is fairfor what you getting. Potential for repeat visit : Well, since I really don't eat beef anymore due to gout, means no burgersand no steak. The a-la-carte price for the french fries (chips) is a bit higher than I would like, but I have not seen theportioning on the chips order. I might consider dropping by during the morning and see what their breakfast options are likeand how the portion size is. Cozy locally owned restaurant with delicious fish and chips and all-day breakfast options. Jerry is actually there cooking your... food! The breakfast options are freshly prepared and the fry oil doesnt leave a nasty taste on the food. The cod is a nice sizedpiece of fish on top of a large serving of fries. Read more
