I ordered through the Uber Eats app and received UNDERCOOKED chicken. At this point I already ate about 2/3 of the burger and... was extremely worried for my health. Hero burger fell off. Bun wasn?t toasted, meat had a funny texture. Not what I remember it to be.

Hero? Not my hero, the villains must have taken over. There are problems I've noticed from the top down about this place. Its... been years since I've come to this place and the quality has certainly dropped off a cliff. The only good thing about this placeis that its clean. That being said, the food, outside of the sauces, are not good. Rubbery bread, cheap tasting (probablyfrozen) fries, and tiny portions for the high price of all this low quality food (tiny chicken breast in the burger bun (verythin and only 3/5 the size of the bun), pop (only 3/4 full), etc. When I first had hero burger years ago, I remember it felt alittle expensive at the time but you felt like you were getting quality and decent sized meals. Now many other resturants havecaught up and offer antibiotic and hormone free food and have better quality stuff for their prices while these guys went theopposite way. Their menu is huge now but their quality is bad. Other than that this location needs to put more effort intoputting care into the food being cooked. Undercooked onion rings are horrible and also no one wants cold food. The owner shouldhave food sitting in a warmer bag and not under the a/c for pickup orders. I?m giving this place 3.5 stars round up to 4 stars. I?ll start with the good and that?s the Spicy Jalapeno Crispy Chicken... sandwich which is really good. The sandwich is a Nashville hot chicken style sandwich and packs good heat without being too hot.With all the chicken sandwiches wars going on this blows away KFC and Popeyes. The fries are great but get soggy fast. Theywould be better double fried and crispy. The little ketchup packets, awesome. Now the bad. The burgers are different and maynot be to everyone?s taste. I enjoyed it but had a problem with the meat. It?s tasty but the patties look processed. The problemI had was I was expecting an 8oz patty and not two fours. That maybe due to Covid but it changes the profile of the burger. They also use real cheddar which is a no no but works with the flavour of the meat. The price was high but not unreasonable fortwo 8oz burgers. The chicken sandwich is expensive compared to other places but still worth it. The staff were polite andfriendly as much as you can be with Covid restrictions. The place was clean and not very busy. Would I go back? Yes but onlyfor the chicken burger. Read more
