Reviews for Five Guys in Scarborough, ON
Fantastic, friendly staff, wicked quick service considering how busy they were. First time coming here, got a bacon cheese dog.... A bit small for the price, but absolutley delicious. Plan on sharing a table if you want to eat in, though - not that muchseating here. Also note that peanuts are present at the front counter, so if you're allergic to them, you might want to consideranother option. Read more
I enjoyed my burger and fries plus noticed the place was very clean. What ever size fried you order expect they are going to... give you way more. The size of the burger could be bigger. Lots of seating and usually busy during lunch. Read more
Honest Review - Overall good burger place, really enjoyable when you?re looking for a food place around eglinton. Burger choices... are amazing including the topping selection option, they bundle you up with plenty of fries in a cup, not to forget they havefree peanuts for those who are peanut lovers, and their side options include onion rings and more. - delicious juicy burgers -drinks are great (soft drinks & water) - sides are amazing (huge bundle of fries), onion rings, etc. - really nice and efficientstaff, keep up the good work! - a bit pricey for a burger fast food chain - overall, a must-try burger fast-food chain, will goagain when I get the chance! I worked nearby when this location first opened and it was hilarious the first time my co-workers and I went there the first... time got a combo and walked back to our store with a sack of fries for just over $10. Passed by here this week and decided tostop in and a bacon cheeseburger with regular sized fries. I'm guessing they've been hit fairly hard by the pandemic as justthat burger and regular fries ran $19 with no drink. The first screen you're hit with when paying by card is the tip optionstarting at 18%, which I hope is wholly going to the staff and not management. Staff seemed nice, but I can't justify a tipuntil I know the level of service. The fries are fantastic (I'd recommend Cajun, a little spicy, but not too much) and theyeven tell you where the potatoes were sourced from that day near the cash. Crispy, but soft on the inside and they pour in extrato the bag. The burgers are smash style and doubled up-- I'd guess about 6-8oz of meat and will get mushy as they're wrapped intin foil, taste is pretty average. I hope this review helped! Read more
Never very busy when I drop in here. Usually quick service and turnaround. Food is always hot and order correct. Staff friendly.... Area is clean and lots of parking available right out front. A pretty typical Five Guys experience. Read more
For my first time eating food from any Five Guys, I must say I was pleased with not only the food, but also the service. To be... honest, the oil from the patties and fries could have been drained a little better, however tasted better than recommended. Iwill definitely come back to try other things on the menu. I really appreciated the range in being able to select my burgertoppings - just as much as I appreciated the cashier's patience while I took forever (and a day) to select the toppings Iwanted. (Not on purpose, I swear). If it's your first time , I recommend maybe a "Little Hamburger" to start ..It's a only asingle patty. Read more
One of those places that specialize with a few menu items and are really good at their craft. I don't think I can compare this... place to other typical burger 'joints' as their burgers and fries are really good and a notch (or two) above the rest. A'little' burger is a single patty and a 'regular' is a double-patty. Same sized bun, brioche style with sesame. 15 or soavailable toppings including sauteed onions or mushrooms. They typically use 2 slices of american cheese, so you need tospecify if you want less. Fries are fresh-cut and fried in peanut oil. Salted or Cajun (preferred). They will serve fries on apaper cup inside the paper bag then top it off with more fries (excellent!!). Milkshakes, Soda from fountains (coca-colaproducts). Hot dogs and nothing else. Orders are made to individual preference so they don't really stack up a heap of burgerpatties and serve them out in a jiffy. You'll have to wait until your order is done (the way it should be)... The restaurant isreminiscent of 60s style diners with white and red accents. Their numerous awards and reviews are framed on the walls. You willbe familiar with this restaurant if you frequent the Virginia , Washington DC area in the 80s and 90s. There are sacks uponsacks of fresh peanuts (serve yourself) and potatoes from different north american sources, so beware of allergens for those whoare nut-sensitive. Read more
