One of the best doner spots in the GTA. All food items and sauces were fresh and made in house. The meat was very juicy and each... meal had very good meat quantity. I love their chicken doner fries, but the amount of sauce they put is not what it used to. I used to go there every week and... they would put a good amount of sauce, so I wouldnt have to ask for extra. However, after a while, the amount of sauce became ahit or miss. It would either be a good amount or not that much. Without much sauce, the taste of potatoes in the friesoverpowers the great taste of the sauces. Thus, I began asking for extra sauces. But, it would still be hit or miss. It is kindof disappointing because during the beginning of covid, I made sure to buy their fries because I was a fan and I wanted tosupport a good business. Nowadays, I just go once every three-six months. I hope they put as much sauce as they used to. Read more
Asked for all sauces for both my orders and only got one sauce on one of my orders. Was better when manager and son worked here.... Not the hype anymore. Workers always seem high and unaware of what is happening and this is the last time I will tolerateit???????? Read more
This is the saddest poutine I have ever seen in my entire life. Costco?s poutine is a hundred times better than this. $10. I saw... them put the fries in the fryer, then the guy straight up headed to the back (where it?s blocked and you can?t see what?s goingon) and microwaved it. I don?t know what he?s microwaving cause there?s like barely any cheese on these fries. I can even smellthe saltiness of the gravy without tasting it. I also waited like 20mins for this guy to do some sketchy business with my friesbehind the wall and out of my view. No idea why it took so long to put gravy and cheese on the fries after they were taken outof the fryer. Also a very small portion for $10. My mistake was craving poutine and going to this place to get it instead ofsome other place. Gave it a taste test. 10/10 the WORST poutine I?ve ever had in my life. My wife and I really enjoy both Chicken (me) and Beef Doner sandwiches! Chicken is made in house and so delicious! The bread was... crusty and good! A mix of German and Turkish take out or sit in. Thank you! Read more
Restaurant was very very clean. Counter and food area were clean and maintained. Service was polite and short. Seemed like a... busy place, arrived at noon and there was three people in the store ordering food. Happy with the pleasant service and cleanrestaurant, however the food just was just lacking. I got the poutine, the meat was very dense and did not have much taste orspice. It was VERY salty, with the cheese, gravy, and meat. Definitely not for someone who is watching their sodium intake. The service at Doner King was trash. The owner is the kindest man but his staff are not fully there. The three stooges I had to... deal with seemed high or tipsy. I ordered three items but they only had one completed. When I let them know my other two ordersthey then proceeded to make me pay, thinking everything was in there and I went home to realize they forgot my third item? I hadto call three times before they asked me to come back and they let me know they were closing soon. Once I arrived, the person inthe back gave me the last item and apologized. I should mentioned when I ordered another order came right after for 3 sandwichesand they completed their order and proceeded to tell me how busy they were but no one was there. When they found out they forgotmy two missing items the two staff in the front ran to the back giggled and proceeded to be klutzy and I could hear a bunch ofstuff falling on the ground. My wings were still pink when I took them home to finally eat them. I have attached a photo forproof. Please use caution when going to this place to order. Accidentally stumbled across this place. WOW. If you?re looking for a delicious chicken Donair you have to come here. The... chicken is so good you could eat it on its own. Great sauces. The cabbage was delicious. Gotta try it! Read more
