We had a weekend lunch special. All you can eat is a vegetarian meal. The service and food were excellent. This is a traditional... south Indian lunch experience. They serve on banana leaves. The only issue is you are allowed one-hour sitting since they wantto serve as many people as possible. I must say, the service was speedy. Overall it was a good experience. Read more
The best South Indian Vegetarian unlimited meals (only on Saturday?s & Sunday?s) in all of Scarborough. The employees are... incredibly polite and want you to eat till you?re full. Literally everything is piping hot, the Vada?s are prepared then andthere and served. The rice is just as you eat at home and the Pulav is delicious. This is the favourite restaurant of my folks.We even went on a weekday to check their regular menu and that?s just as brilliant. A really good food in Scarborough Good: The food was awesome. Saambar is one of the best I could say in Canada, so far. Dosa... was also very much, what you would like to eat. Food is delicious. Hats off to the kitchen for preparing such yummy flavours. I would definitely have given this place a 5... rating based on food rating. But it?s not just food that matters, SERVICE matters too. Horrific and chaotic service ( I wouldn?tsay the entire crew but one person specifically) did spoil the overall experience for us. We were 4 adults and were required to have reservations. We ordered the 4 adult meals, its main attraction on weekends, and... waited to chow down. The ambience isn't all that great, and the seating can feel a bit congested once seated. Alright, withthat out of the way, the meal was delicious, and as a south indian, pretty close to what you can get in Mysore, Bangalore, etc.Everything that comes on your leaf is unlimited, and at ~18 CAD per person, it was quite a filling and justified meal. Anotheraspect is the staff, who are extremely polite, courteous and friendly. We hope to revisit and have another meal servicesometime soon. One thing to note is these lunch meals are only on Saturday and Sunday, from 12pm-3pm. Read more
