Chawk Bazaar came highly recommended from some family friends and we decided to try their catering service out for a lunch we... were hosting. We got the platter for 4 (customised for 6) and everything was absolutely delicious - especially the muttonrezala and the kalijeera pulao. I'd like to mention that they took the time to understand what we were looking for and helpcustomise the order, which was most appreciated. The order was also really well packed and easy for us carry out. BestBangladeshi/Bengali food we've had in Canada so far! Will definitely be returning to Chawk Bazaar very soon. Read more

I really liked the food, I ordered khichuri with achari chicken and mixed veg with 5 foron. All have deshi taste. Two thing I... did not like are the small quantity of khichuri and veg, and the packaging; oil was all over the place (poor uber person ????),I was ordering in to avoid cleaning and it just made me clean more ????. After being in hundreds of restaurants in/out of Canada sadly I have to admit that this is “the worst restaurant” I have... been to. They had buffet on Wednesday night and took only handful of reservations, which was great. What wasn’t great isdespite allowing only handful of people the food was stale/cold. It appeared that this buffet was probably a way for them to getrid of leftover food and ingredients that are going bad. If someone with weak stomach eats there, very likely will get sick.Moreover the items didn’t even match what they had advertised on website. Only good part was the gentleman who was makingrolls and the star is for him. I would highly recommend everyone to avoid this restaurant even if you’re starving. Read more

I have not tasted a Bangladeshi meal as good in any other part of the world beyond Bangladeshi borders. In fact, it beats a lot... of Bangladeshi restaurant in Bangladesh itself. Non Edible burnet rice , almost one third portion. Not going again. This is not the delivery container, we went there for dine... in last night, i have the receipt, we ate some and packed one bowl in the box provided from the shop. First they said muttonbiriany is finished and we requested to check if they still have in stock and they said yes and gave this. **** adding on 13Jan 2022 Thank you very much Chawk Bazar Authority for the $20 coupon that they sent me after seeing the review andinvestigation, The more important thing than the money was, they cared about the review and immediately mailed me about mycomplaint. We tried a couple of packages of mutton biryani again yesterday and didn’t find those burnt staff in them and itwas tasty. Simple, nice interior. Staffs are well mannered and served well. However, the food quality could have been better. After waiting... 30 mins given a promise for freshly cooked food, we received Luke warm dishes. Chotpoti and fuchka tasted blunt. Naga crabdidn’t have naga flavor, luchis were okay. Overall, average experience except the part that they were playing Bengali songs. Read more

Worst kachii ever had. Ordered 1 tray of kachii with chicken roasts. Paid $85 with delivery at Brampton. Food had no taste at... all. For sure it was frozen. Never recommend this place. Be aware. Read more
