I don?t wanna give this restaurant even 1 star, yesterday for Diwali we bought some sweets, it was super pricy, cause there was... no difference in the expensive sweets and the normal one + the sweets were rotten, whoever tasted the sweets I bought scolded mefor that, such a horrible place, they are not following the food standards of Ontario, probably they don?t even bother to checkit, the way it was in there, it doesn?t seem like they even have a standard Read more

Smells weird. Old shop looks not clean. Not much variety of sweets. Gives a feeling of a small town sweet shop in... India. Although service is fine. I recommend Rajdhani sweets Read more

I was eager to try this Indian joint based on the reviews. I wanted to try the ?Thali? and once they rallied up the bill I was... charged $9.99+tax. I showed them the flyer says $7.49 and they say that?s an old price. we are talking about a 25% increase inprices but most of all they have not revised the prices on the menu. I rather they have provided me the heads up prior to meordering instead of surprising me at the end. In this case I walked away. Read more

Food - I consider the place as not a restaurant but a sweet shop; food is average and nothing to write about. Same as all Indian... sweet shops serve in the area, worthy of filling the stomach but not the heart. Reviewing Paneer pakodas- the one on the rightis from Bengali sweet shop, and the ones on the left are from adjoining A1 sweet shop. It tastes exactly the same. Thedifference is A1 does not cut the pakodas, is 50c cheaper, and serves mint chutney. Mint chutney is average, and so are thepakodas. On a side note- the shop is generally dirty. Edit- To the owner, if you doubt my credibility, I can post pakorabills. Rather than questioning, clean your store. Read more

Being a Bengali and having a place to get the special bengali sweets is a desire always that?s too in a different country . I... have tried their Rosogolla which is my favourite and also their motichoor and besan laddo. I would say I loved their besanladdo. It?s not a typical bengali sweet place like we have in kolkata but yes you may get some of the sweets which you crave asa bengali. Read more

Such a poor service.. I visited to buy sweets on the festival of Diwali.. it turned out to be such a disappointment, they put a... station outside the shop.. it was so messy, garbage and plastic everywhere. No covid restrictions followed. They didn't havehave proper boxes left. After few mins I went inside the store to see if they have more boxes inside. I managed to get few boxesand asked them to prep 4 boxes with mix and match. Specifically told them don't want white coconut burfy and want yellow oneinstead. Also wanted two rolls for each box.. and this is what they gave me. How how does those boxes look same? Read more
