Very nice authentic Turkish dining experience. Tasty fresh food, neat and cosy dining room, reasonable prices. Brings me back to... the time I spent in Istanbul and Antalya, definitely recommended. The portions are huge so I suggest to take a couple of entreesand share, you won't regret it. Finish your meal with a cup of Turkish coffee of course :) Read more

Delicious and fresh Turkish food tucked away in Scarborough. The service is really wonderful, all their staff are very kind and... will check-in with you throughout your meal and also offer great recommendations. The complimentary bread and tea also makesyour dining experience worthwhile when going with friends/larger groups. Only downside is that it can get a little hot insidewhen it's crowded and the dishes are very pricey ($30 for the kebab plates, $20+ for pide). Read more

Nice food and live music! It seems to be an authentic Turkish restaurant. The music was a little loud though. Tip: if you wanna... split the bill, you have to tell them before ordering! Read more

Top points for the quality of food and presentation. It?s a beautiful space and looks like they have live music in the weekends.... Where Barans lost a point for me was the slow service. We visited on a Tuesday night when the restaurant didn?t seem TOO busy -maybe 5 or 6 tables and two servers. We didn?t manage to get our order in until almost half an hour after we were seated and hadto flag down the server in order to do so. We weren?t checked up on until long after we had finished eating. Although pricingis a little on the high end ($20-$30 for mains) I would happily come back. But next time just for takeout. Read more

We really enjoyed our date here. We didn't know this place existed and wwee excited to try it out. We went on a Tuesday at a... time that was not busy, were given a table of our choice and provided with their oven baked bread and spread. The place wasclean and cozy. The food was delicious and halal. I posted some close up photos of it. The meat was cooked just right(flavourful and savory). It was perfectly filling, portion size was just right for 1 person. My husband had the turkish teawhich he enjoyed as well. We look forward to coming back here in the future. Read more

Hidden Turkish restaurant at one corner of the Scarbourogh. Excellent food at bit of a high price. They cook everything at the... same time so we get to gourmet very fresh Turkish cuisines. Bit pricey but as the food is great it?s a good deal. Service staffis very helpful and great attitude. Wonderful service. (Specially the Turkish male who served us) only negative impact was thelayout is banquet style. Would?ve been more great with separated and bit more privacy. Nevertheless it?s a wonderful and hiddenrestaurant with good food and service! You may see our before and after food Big Bang. Read more
