Tried chicken mandi 1st time ever in Toronto and I can say it was OK. So we ordered 2 quarter chicken mandi and it was served... within 5 mins which was shocker for us to be served that quick. Taste was OK not bad chicken was tendered and juicy, rice wascooked very well but a bit bland tbh not sure if this is how it supposed to be. Quantity for each quarter chicken mandi wasenough for 1 person. The best part was the pricing which was quite reasonable. Overall it was a very nice experience eatingmandi. So far the best mandi i had in Toronto. We ordered lamb and chicken mix, it was really good, smell was great specially lamb, no... smell at all. Platter was enough for 2 of us. We will definately visit again. Worth 45mins drive???? Read more

We went on a Food adventure and found this Hidden spot, tucked away in a plaza that serves Yemen food! We got Single Lamb Mandi.... Single Lamb Mandi came in a Platter of Rice topped with 2 pieces of fall apart tender Lamb, the Lamb was so juicy, flavourful,just slightly fatty on one of the pieces, the fat literally melted in our mouth, it was absolutely amazing! The best part wasthe Basmati Rice, it was cooked to perfection, topped with fried Onions, Raisins, Spices, and the Tomato based Sauce, ugh what adelicious meal! Read more

Been here a couple of times and love the delicious food here! Highly recommend the lamb or chicken platters with their tea. The... meat is so tender and moist and I also enjoy the accompanying spicy sauce with my rice. Meals are great to share family style. Read more

Excellent customer service and very clean restaurant. Ordered the lunch special of 1/4 leg chicken mandi with a pop included.... Chicken was very moist and the rice was super tasty. Reluctant at first due to the poor reviews about food quality and price. Pleasantly surprised with the taste and portions. We... ordered the lamb and chicken mix mandi. Perfect for 5-6 people in our opinion. Costs about $55. Lamb was falling off the bone.The chicken was well cooked and seasoned. However there were quite a bit of fruit flies buzzing inside the restaurant so wedecided to pack our food as take out. Must try their Yemeni tea - a perfect combination. Read more
