If you appreciate good food, you NEED to visit this place. I wish I knew about this restaurant sooner cause WOW was I missing... out! My friends and I ordered a bunch of dishes and EACH DISH DID NOT DISAPPOINT. All very beautifully presented and the tasteof each dish is SO good, you don't want to share (lol). The chef and cooks clearly know what they're doing and are veryexperienced in the type of quality in taste and presentation they want to deliver to their customers. To enhance the experienceof our visit, each booth had their own shoji screens which made it feel more authentic and a unique experience different fromother Izakaya spots. @akaoniizakaya ???????????????? This Lobster Don ($25.99) was just divine. Chunks of grilled lobster Shimeji mushrooms & corn... in their Devil sauce which was aromatic and buttery. Tasted so good …. Will definitely go back for this. We also had thedynamite roll. Beautiful presentation and generous sized pieces of sushi. The Tempura appetizer came with 2 large sized prawnsand the batter was light and crispy and came with tempura veggies. Will be back soon!! Read more

The first time I went to Aka-Oni I decided to purchase the VIP card because I knew I would be coming back!! The fish was very... fresh and everything tasted very unique and the best sushi I’ve ever had. I tried the lunch special after, which I thought itdidn’t taste as good as the first time I went which was at dinner time. I suspect that they use better quality fish for thenon lunch special items.
