This place is not offering oriental food...at all. Went there today, ordered PuPu platter for two...most of the items were... soaked in pancake batter, making the items look four times larger, then, deep fried and dripping with grease. The chicken wingslooked bloated, like the force feed chickens they came from. Their version of pork fried rice was virtually flavorless...no soysauce, no anise, no fennel, no garlic, no onion, ginger or sesame flavors...not even a hint of cinnamon. Can you believethat? Just flavorless. And...I haven't even mentioned the eating environment...poor! We thought the state of Maine, like mostother states, post Health Ratings, but if they are supposed to, we couldn't find any or they were concealed behind all theclutter between the tables and the service/ counter area?!? I'm in from out of town, and my experiences here seem to have been more or less the opposite of what everyone else is saying.... The phone ordering was painless and delivery was on time! The prices seemed fairly reasonable for a delivery order. However,the food was mediocre at best. Way too sweet, and otherwise pretty bland. I also would have appreciated a bit more broccoli inthe dishes that came with it. The egg rolls were also just okay. The egg drop soup was a standout--and not ina good way. Itincluded some mushrooms and other vegetables, which is not traditional but not necessarily bad. However, my friend tried onebite and the look on her face said it all. Down the drain it went. Overall, the best thing about the experience was the abilityto have delivery of something other than pizza. We got what we needed, but I'm not excited about ordering here again. Read more
Ordered $70 worth of food for delivery, they said they were busy and it would be 45 minutes to an hour. Called after an hour... passed and they said they were short on delivery drivers but it was on the way. After 2 hours we called 3 times and they didn?tanswer. 4th call finally got answered and they claim they had the wrong address. Food finally arrived after 130 minutes (2 hr,10 min). Lady at the register was very rude to me!!!!!! (Twice) I'm new to Maine and I only asked where are the folks. Her response was... why you didn't look over there first! I kept my Kool and walked out!
