What an awful experience. We (7 of us) were vacationing in Scarborough, Maine and wanted a steamers and lobster dinner... (mid-October), found this place nearby, checked the website and it said they were open year round and had Lobster Dinner andsteamed clams both listed on the menu. Got there and were informed "they don't sell lobster or steamers this late in theseason." Seems like something that should be mentioned on the website, but we're hungry, so we go ahead and order fried clams,friend scallops, a pair of burgers, and some haddock nuggets. It was ALL awful. It tasted like it came out of the freezersection at Hannaford and was overly oily. Definitely do not recommend. Read more
We were in the area for Labor Day, it?s now the beginning of October and I?m yearning for the lobster roll from this... establishment. It was superb! So fresh and delicious. The seafood chowder blew me away, not only was it tasty, but it had SOmuch in it (like a full scallop), my mouth is watering thinking of this place. Will def come back when we are in Maine again.Definitely stop in if your a seafood lover, it?s truly a great stop! Read more
We have been eating at Baileys for years. A few weeks ago we went and we?re disappointed. Thought we would try it again and the... family thought we should try Kens. They were very busy, so we went back to your place. The lady working upstairs was verydelightful to deal with but the food was horrible. Clams were extremely well done ,some fries were just warm, clam cake wasalmost burnt. We may give them another chance but there at this point I think there are better options . Definitely not worththe $170.00 plus we spent. Read more
Been here several times. Thought we would try it again. Few people at lunchtime gave us a clue. Average fries; good scallops;... only a few very large clams; average slaw; below average very small shrimp. Very expensive $38 for what we got. Read more
Scallops were almost burnt on 4 orders!!! We had to ask them to cook us more!! Very disappointed ????????
Great selection of seafood here! Cant wait to bring the family here next vacation. Additionally, the ice cream next door is to... die for! Enormous scoops! The banana split could feed probably 2-3 people! Read more
Good quality seafood. However, prices are a little high compared to the value of what you're buying. A good tourist location if... you're looking for local catches like having a lobster roll or a batch of Ipswich clams. Read more
Ive eaten a lot of lobster rolls and This was one of the best. I can?t complain getting a great seafood meal in off season was a... fabulous surprise. Should?ve taken a pic before it was almost gone! Read more
