Cafe Joelle is a wonderful local restaurant and bar. Food is excellent and bar is very comfortable and has great hours. What... sets cafe Joelle apart is their staff and ownership that always make you feel welcome. Their bartenders, Sarah, Lisa-Marie andJake are always warm and inviting and I make this my go to choice for lunch, dinner or a drink at the bar. They have recentlyopened outdoor dining In the rear of the restaurant and are dog friendly outside. I was disappointed overall but it wasn't all bad. It was LI Restaurant Week. That can throw the experience off a bit, since they... only showcase certain foods for a certain prix fix. The staff and owner/manager were amazing. The setting is very nice. It'scomfortable, updated and moody. The food was good, not great. I've had better, I've had worse. I think that was really the partthat disappointed me. The drinks were very good. Overall, I'd like to give it another try on a regular weekend. I've lived in sayville all my life and have never been here. Me and my girlfriend decided to go for a date night. I have to say... that has to be one of the best and most comforting meal we've had in a long time. The service was excellent, the don't make youfeel pressured to order right away.
