This place has great NY style pizza! I am very critical when reviewing pizza because I?m originally from NY, so trust me when I... say this pizza is really good. The crust was perfect and the flavor of the sauce and cheese was perfect. Best pizza I?ve hadsince Mulberry Street pizza in Beverly Hills when I lived in California. Read more

This pizza was excellent. My family ordered individual slices so everyone could get what they wanted. The price was great for... how huge the slices were. You will only need one slice. Everyone was really happy with the pizza. It has a great outdoorsetting too. Read more

Great tasting food, pleasant eating atmosphere, friendly and courteous wait staff/employees, makes for a perfect setting to... enjoy a wonderful meal. Many styles of chef special pizzas, by the pie, or slice. Create whatever pizza, calzone, salad youwish, amongst other items. Indoor and outdoor dining available, with a take out window. You can order ahead, curbside pickupavailable. Best part, animal friendly. No worries of dining when you enjoy the company of your animals (dog/cat). Specialthanks of the host offering water for my dog, and Hanna for the great service. Read more

This place had raving reviews, so we had to see what it was all about. The inside of the restaurant was closed (unsure if it?s... related to covid) . So we order outside not by choice. I was debating to order individual slices or just get the whole pie.Ending up doing 4 individual slices, each topping was .50 cent that I choose. They did have specialty toppings that were $1.00each. Drinks were $2.00 each not too bad just more ice than actual soda. The gentleman who took my order was nice and patient. It took about 12 minutes for the pizza to be ready they call your name and you just come back up to the pick up window. I havenever ever in life had one slice of pizza this BIG. It was light not to cheesy. My toppings were fresh (garden lover over here)The crust was chewy and the sauce used was decent. My son could not finish his, don?t blame it was a lot for a 7 year old. Thetotal for my order ended up being $31.00 for four drinks and 4 individual pizzas with 2 toppings per slice. We ate in thecourtyard outside like everyone else and people watched in the city market of Savannah. Calm night not to busy and the weatherwas perfect for a Friday Night! Read more

This place is a must try. I only had a single slice and it was VERY fulfilling. I waited about 15minutes which is not bad at all... for amazing pizza. Thin crust is not my go to but this tasted great! Highly recommend if you?re craving pizza on your Savannahtrip. Read more

Do not - I repeat - DO NOT call yourself a pizza lover if you pass on Vinnie Van Go-Go's while you're in Savannah. Because I've... got New York blood running through my veins, I tell anyone who will listen that I've got a separate stomach just for pizza. WhenI heard everyone talking (raving, really) about the slices here - both for the size and the quality - I made a point of stoppinghere before we left the city. Having had it, I can definitely add my voice to the loud Yelp praises of this pizza joint. Folks, the hype here is well-deserved. There's a dine-in area but you're going to have a hard time finding a seat without investing ina long wait. Thankfully, Vinnie Van Go-Go's thoughtfully added a walk-up counter for takeout orders, and there's even a voiceamplifier so that you'll have no trouble trotting over when your order is called. My order of two slices charged 8 dollars andchange, along with a ten to twelve minutes. Once it was in my hand, I jetted over to my husband, who was waiting nearby at ano-parking spot, and we absolutely DEMOLISHED these slices. The size reminds me of Coronet's, another authentic NYC pizza placewith comically large slices (picture below with my hand next to it for reference). But size means nothing it it doesn't tastegood, and I'm more than happy to report that this is a true blue New York slice. The sauce, the crust rigidity, the proportionsof cheese to sauce to crust....it nearly drew a tear while I was digging in. I don't always get this impassioned about food, but I'll be dreaming about the pizza high from these slices for a long while to come. Read more

I'm kinda bummed I didn't get the appeal. The pizza slices are huge, I'll give you that. I just didn't feel like it was as great... as everyone says. For one, there was not a lot of cheese which is a big deal with pizza. I asked for extra cheese on theveggie, but the other photos are the normal amount of cheese. Two, the crust was almost inedible. I LOVE New York style pizzaand prefer it over any other style pizza. But I can tell the pizza must have been left out to sit because the soft/chewy crustof New York style was so rough that I had to yank my teeth just to eat the crust before giving up. The good news is it waspretty affordable, especially for how much food you get. It's also in a great location in Savannah. We got there 15 mins beforeit opened and there was a line. So I'm sure the pizza is usually good, I just didn't care for it this time. Read more

My favorite pizza spot in Savannah! Amazing NYC style pizza and unbeatable prices. You can order whole pizzas or by the slice... (slices are massive in size!) Staff is lovely and food comes out quickly. Vinnie?s is great place to check out if you?re in theCity Market District! 10/10 would recommend. Read more
