This was a big disappointment. We ordered the Philly cheese sandwich and the village burger. The Philly cheese was made with... Velveeta, the bun was soggy and there were no onions and mushrooms. We had more bun than filling and all you could taste wasthe bright yellow liquid cheese. The burger was mediocre. HOWEVER.. the sweet potato fries were delicious. Read more
Wildly inconsistent from staff to food. Hard to recommend despite my desire to give them a positive. Beer always fresh and... wines are a decent pour. Prices reasonable. Pizza the most consistent product on the menu. Read more
Placed an online to go order at 7:30pm. Arrived 20 minutes later for pick up and confirmed my order with waitstaff at the bar.... Was told it would be a couple minutes longer. Waited 30 min. then tracked down the manager who went into the kitchen andeventually came out with tied up bags containing a to go order. I asked if the sauces for my cheese sticks, wings, and dressingfor a salad were included which she affirmed. Walked to my vehicle and decided to check the order before leaving. It was wrong.None of it my was my food. Went back inside where I was informed that my food was still not ready and that the manager was gonefor the night leaving no one there with any authority to refund my meal. It was 8:50PM and I had been at the bar waiting forover an hour at this point so just left. This place is a train wreck. Good luck if you attempt to eat here. Read more
Maybe we are just unlucky, but the two times we have been here were terrible. Food is overpriced for what it is. Low quality... food that tastes like it went from a freezer, to the microwave, and then maybe on the grill for a minute. Both times food didnot come out at the same time with several minutes in between. It's really too bad because this place could be really good ifthe food and service were better. But this place is mostly aimed at people that like simple things and view mayonnaise as anexotic ingredient. Read more
Being the only restaurant/bar available to the general public on Skidaway Island, this place could just phone it in, making food... that's just good enough. But instead, you will find high quality, well prepared eats. I can vouch for the BBQ, the steak andfried chicken. This is the first place where I've enjoyed cooked green beans, which are brined and flash blanched. Thecheesesteak, while not worthy of the Philly name, is still good in its own right. There are a lot of good dishes coming out ofthe kitchen. But that's the point where some issues begin. The service is uneven. Now, keep in mind, many places are strugglingto find and keep good workers these days during the Great Resignation, but the fact is that I've seen this place completelyoverwhelmed and discombobulated due to large crowds. They may be victims of their own success. I've also ordered beers, only tohave the waitresses come back twice, to tell me that the beer I ordered from the menu wasn't available again. I've seen busboysand waiters get confused about which table was which and who ordered which dish. That being said, I would still recommend thisplace and will still patronize it and I look forward to a continued expansion. The rumor is a breakfast menu may be coming. Ihave high hopes. Read more

Food was good, decent prices, and the server was nice. We drew the short straw though, and it took almost an hour to get our... food. Nearby tables were much faster (one walked in at the same time - they were served, ate, and left 15 min before we got ourfood). Manager was apologetic, and gave us a small discount. Read more
