Definitely lives up to the hype. Food and ambience were fantastic. We were offered two menu options - $75 3-course and $140... 6-course tasting menu. We opted for the water and pasture menus. Every dish was superb - the leeks, snapper, and chicken werestandouts. This is a must-go if you are in Savannah and able to snag a reservation or walk in by arriving right at opening. Read more

Absolutely worth it! Please make a reservation or get in line early as seating is limited and reservations are HARD to come... by. Killer interior! Great vibes! Awesome staff! Thoroughly enjoyed the bar seating in the dining room. Comfortable chairs andvery attentive bar staff. Food is outstanding. Enjoyed every dish in the 3 course menu and added the fish dip as well as thecheese board for dessert. Very filling. Very tasty. Very satisfied customer. Read more

If you are on a roadtrip and you are passing Savannah, I highly recommend you stopping to eat at The Grey. We went on brunch... time on a Sunday. It was packed, so we stayed at the bar, which was just fine. I had a passion fruit drink that was sorefreshing. I asked for biscuits and gravy, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The gravy was not the regular one, butit was so delicious. The biscuits were perfect. The bartender recommended me to come back for dinner, and I most definitelywill!! Read more

This is a great place! The food was amazing, and the service was relaxed. If you are expecting a fast meal in and out, don?t... bother here. This is a restaurant with ambiance and character, not a quick meal. Perfect spot for a date or after-church brunch.Added bonus: they had a string trio while we were there for brunch! It was great! This place has been on our bucket list for a few years now, and during our trip to Savannah we knew we had to try to get in!... Reservations for tables are booked months out for The Grey, but they do have options for walk-ins?either the a la carte dinerarea or seating at the full-service bar. We got there early and only waited a few minutes for seats at the bar. We ordered a 3course dinner and dessert. Everything was amazing. I?d love to go back and try the chef?s tasting menu sometime. Service washospitable and friendly while also being incredibly professional. The atmosphere is quirky and beautiful. Definitely worth themoney! Read more

Had a wonderfully prepared and presented meal that lived up to all the hype. A bus station actually makes for a light airy... atmosphere. Deco period details restored. Great service from Joshua. An inexpensive white Burgundy made a perfect complement tothe seafood-forward meal we selected from the short three course tasting menu. Started with a dozen oysters, continued with tunacrudo, grouper, quail, leeks and a chocolate spice cake for dessert. Read more

We had brunch for the first time at the Grey yesterday and it was really good. We have been for dinner and cocktails previously... and it?s always been good. For brunch they had a little jazz band playing in the main room which added some fun ambiance. Thecrab beignets are awesome and a must try! Everything we picked though was great. If they have any form of buttermilk pie onthe menu make sure you save room for dessert. Read more

My wife and I saw the documentary on The Grey on Chefs Table and put it on our bucket list. Well we made it on 05/20/22. We... were told they were booked for the weekend but to still come and we could see if there was availability. We got in line at 4:54they opened the door at 5. We thought we would not get seated but got a spot at the bar. We went with the 3 course meal butfirst had amazing fresh bread with smoked olives. The bartender/ waiter Andy helped us navigate the menu. Natalie got us ourdrinks. Both were very informative of the whole experience. I had, mackerel, smoked carrots and the smoked Lamb. Lisa had thebeets, leeks and the orange chicken, we then shared the burnt orange ice cream with a chocolate cake. The food was amazing, then to our surprise and amazement, chef owner Mashona Bailey and owner John Morisano came into the restaurant and ended upsitting next to us at the bar. They were very approachable and we had a very nice conversation with them. So totally worth thestop bucket list ?? checked!! Read more
