The restaurant experience has been very good in the past. However, I am disappointed in my recent delivery order. The pizza was... still great although I want to give everyone a warning in the event you are considering ordering a ~$10 salad. The size wasmeager and disappointing. The delivery through Postmates also wasn?t great, but I?m assuming that?s a separate issue? (No onerang my doorbell or knocked even though I was sitting in my living room, so we ultimately had to microwave everything once Ifound our cold order sitting in a rocking chair outside my front door. And yes, I tipped on top of paying the service fee.)Lesson learned here. ?? Just go to the restaurant. Read more

Decent Wood Fired pizza. Hand tossed, sourced with local ingredients and made in a true wood fired oven. No gas, no Fryers etc... but true wood fire. Great pizza and apps especially for someone like myself that comes from Chicago and we have amazing pizzasout there. The chicken wings were okay, no ranch was given just a slice of lime which was kinda weird, there isn?t any hotsauces either. Read more

Great pizza! The brick oven makes the crust bubbly and toasted in spots so it has great texture and flavor. We got the Margaret... and Pineapple smoke Bacon pizzas. The Margaret was simple yet very flavorful. We were so hungry and the pizza was so good, all Ihave is pics of the empty boxes! Definitely would eat here again, definitely would recommend to others. Nice quiet eatery and bar. Pleasant atmosphere, relaxed, with outdoor dining to enjoy beautiful days, with excellent food and... service. I agree with other reviewers and the pizza can be a little bigger. However, the taste makes up for that outstandingly. Read more

Ehhh....fail... Pizza is cold, pizza is 10 1/2 " for 20$+ Absolutely not worth it... Don't waste your money here or your... time The 2 girls sitting in the back booth seemed more occupied with their phones then a new customer that came in to pickup anorder. Then they, along with the guy making pizza was clueless if they had made the order or made it twice. The "chef trainedin national restaurants" needs to address the staff's training in food production and awareness or I don't see this place havinglongevity in the hospitality industry here. Read more

If you are looking for wood fired pizza in Savannah, look no further. The pizza is amazing, the service is great and the bar is... really cozy too. I do not think any place in the city beats the prices of Squirrel pizza for the quality of pizza we had. If weare ever back in the city, we will be stopping by again. Read more

I really hate to leave an unsatisfactory review but our experience was not a good one. The pizza was okay but was not worth the... asking price or the time to prepare. We only have a few days in Savannah and my kids wanted pizza tonight. After some researchonline we settled on Squirrel's. I was impressed with what I found online. It looked like a cool place and the name/logo wascool. The pictures online looked good but after looking at so many places I forgot this was the place where people said the pieswere small. After reading the menu and seeing all pies are approx 12 inches I knew I made a mistake. My wife and I had a bigbreakfast at Fox & Fig this morning and decided to skip lunch. Our kids had some sandwiches from a fast food spot thisafternoon. My wife and I were very hungry by the time we got to Squirrel's. We had hoped to eat outside but those tables werefull. We ate at the first table by the door. We saw multiple people come in waiting (a long time) for orders that I assume werecalled in. One lady was there for so long, I felt sorry for her. I overheard her name when they came out with another order. Sheeventually told one of the ladies working that she going to wait outside. I saw multiple people leave with takeout orders whileshe waited outside. Eventually I thought I heard her name and that her order was ready. I ended up going outside to tell her Ithink they called her name. I felt like creep but she had waited long enough I wasn't going to ignore it. My wife and I arevegan but the kids eat whatever they want. We ordered a pineapple and bacon pizza for them and a roasted vegetable pizza for us.We added the hot cherry peppers but they didn't make it on our pizza. For appetizer the kids had wings and we ordered the breadwithout cheese and a side of sauce. It took 90 minutes from ordering until the food arrived. It was a bummer of a dinnerbecause we had plans to go to the riverfront that evening but had to scrap that. It wasn't the wait st Read more
