The cabbage had a floral flavor to it. Mac and cheese was very dry. Mashed potatoes were good. The dark meat fried chicken... didn't have much flavor. Best part was the corn bread. I dont usually like corn bread but this was really good. Read more

We ate here after our Freedom Trail Tour with Johnny Brown. He suggested this place for a good southern meal. We thoroughly... enjoyed our meals. 3 of us ate for $52 and that included cake and peach cobbler but no beverages. We ordered fried chicken, yams, cabbage, Mac n chz, greens and cornbread in all 3 meals. One has cabbage but no greens. The establishment is a little old(maybe historical idk) but nothing fancy. Friendly people. Read more

This is a quaint spot that serves good food. The chicken was nice and juicy and their cabbage and greens on point. The ribs was... such a treat..sweet and tender in every bite. Definitely want to try their oxtails next time. Read more

Worst soul food I have ever had! Mac and cheese was weird and nasty, greens were bland straight out of a can, mashed potato’s... and gravy was soupy mush. Chicken was the only thing worth eating. Read more

Food was horrible... at best. My sister and I were both disappointed. We spent more time discussing with the family next to us... our shared disgust. Six people and four states represented at those two tables and nobody enjoyed their meal. 85% of the mealswere discarded. The fried chicken was dry, the smothered turkey was flavorless, the Mac and cheese was weird, the yams weredefinitely canned, the gravy tasted like some type of paste like substance and the greens were not good. The service wasn't allthat hot either. One lady touched money then turned right around and touched food. If I'm ever in Savannah again, I'll be sureto go elsewhere! Read more

My husband and I was craving some good vegetables and I being a google person (and loving to try new foods) found Sisters. I am... so glad that I did. The place is small but, packed with great flavor. We knew once we saw the crowd that we were at the rightplace. Once I saw “auntie “ come from the back I felt like I was back home????. I had the hamburger steak patty, withcabbage and mac and cheese and collards WITH a slice (nice size slice!) so if I dose off to sleep, it’s not my fault ???????????. I would have given them 5 stars but ( I came for the fried chicken) they only had dark meat and I only eat wing’s andhubby likes breast. Thank you all again. I also liked how the “youngins” were working the front… great work ethics. Read more

Not a big country food eater but the food was good. The young lady behind the counter was nice and laughed at my jokes. This was... the first time I tasted mustard based BBQ. It was a treat. The ribs were teander and tasty. I had the corn bread and macncheese. Both were good. They has wide selection of food. Sweet to was good. Brought home some peace cobbler and it was a treat. Read more

I’m upset about the food I ordered today at Sisters of the new south. I ordered fried salmon and shrimp with sweet potatoes... and mac and cheese. As you can see from the pictures, my salmon was way over the cooked. My salmon resembles chicken. It had noseasoning at all. Moving on to the sides, my mac and cheese were warmed up in the microwave, and I know for a fact because theywere out of mac and cheese in the front of the restaurant. Lastly, my sweet potatoes were dry and mixed with pineapples. I spenta total of 31 dollars on horrible food, not to mention I had to wait for over 40 minutes for my food, and the restaurant was notbusy at all. I am very disappointed in this company. Read more
