The food was good however our server was great when she was around but sometime she would go missing for a bit, maybe she had... other tables in a different section. We did have a party of 10 so I understand it taking a little longer for things but itfelt like the drinks & appetizers took forever to get and we ordered as soon as we sat down. My dad had to go to the bar andshow them where the liquor he ordered for his drink was because he was told they didn't have it. When we did get our drinks 2people ordered guinness beers and the foam was already settled(the pouring of this is a process and should take sometime to getto this point) so they had been sitting at the bar for awhile. We had to ask for waters twice before a select few got them andI think water should have been brought to the whole table once we sat. My niece needed another fork and we went to the hostessdesk and asked for one and was told no our server would have to get one they weren't going to give us another set of utensils,which was crazy when they literally had them sitting right there. I was greeted by a very friendly and professional staff and seated immediately (Solo dining). My server (Ashley) was amazing,... professional, courteous, and had a wonderful attitude! Ordered the Oakwood fired ribeye and was pleasantly surprised. I orderedrare and rare is exactly what I received. You can really taste the oak in the steak, and paired with the sear, creates andamazing combination of flavors! The dish came with mashed potatoes and green beans which both had a fantastic flavor. Stopped in for lunch today. Our server was friendly but service was slow. I got the Louie salad and the sauteed shrimp were room... temperature, however the salad was tasty. My husband got the black n blue burger which was excellent and fries were cooked toorder. It just took a really long time. If you are in a hurry probably look for another restaurant. We would eat here again ifwe were looking to hang out and catch up with friends. Nice bar, clean dining room, and outdoor seating on the water. Read more

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I ate off the Valentines Day Special Menu. The table set up was very romantic with... fresh cut flowers and a candle. We were escorted to a very comfy booth table over watching the bar area. The waiter was veryattentive and polite. I order the surf and turf. My steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The crab cakes werean added bonus. The culinary skills for this plate was so beautiful I almost didn’t want to eat it but I’m glad I did. A must stop for us as we travel through the Savannah airport area on I-95 near Pooler, GA. A tribute to one of the greater PGA... Golf Tour Professionals who won more than 80 tournaments, Sam Snead's is fun with quality of service and food. Danielle and Johnwere our servers on 2 different occasions who were friendly, on point and professional. Menu variety is first rate. Kitchenprepares perfectly. Bar area very warm and comfortable.
