Good BBQ; I had chopped pork and sausage (kielbasa) with butter beans and sweet potato casserole (the sweet potatoes were... awesome!). Their mustard-based sauce went well with the pork and their spicy sauce went well with the sausage. I wasn'timpressed with their sweet sauce but I'm not a big fan of sweet BBQ sauces in general. We stopped at Papa?s during a visit to Savannah on the way to our airbnb. Our waiter, James was great! He gave us a brief... history on the restaurant and made suggestions on what to order. First time having a shrimp salad sandwich and it was delicious.I can?t remember the soup but it had crab and it was also tasteful. Read more

Last weekend my husband & I ate there for dinner and neither of us were very happy with our orders. I got the salmon( dry,... tasted like last one in the pan), squash casserole tasted like left overs?. I forget what my husband ordered for entree but healso had squash casserole & corn casserole and said both tasted like left overs. Let me just add that we?ve been there before,several times and have always been very happy with orders. Maybe it was because it was late(? 7:30-8pm) or maybe cook had a badday, but whatever the case, I?m sure we?ll try it again!???? Read more
