We did the Chef’s Counter (plus wine pairing) at Common Thread to celebrate a birthday and truly I think it’s the best meal... + experience we’ve ever had. The staff & service were fantastic - getting to engage with the chef about the food as well aswith their wine expert about the wine pairings was a lot of fun! And holy moly the food… phenomenal. We had 10 items in totaland the flavor combinations for all were unique & fun, and the depth of flavors throughout all the courses was impressive. Thewines all were delicious and were paired thoughtfully with the dishes. They were also super accommodating of a glutenintolerance as well. Massive thank you to Chef Victor & all the team at Common Thread for hosting such a terrific experience andfor just a truly incredible meal. We will absolutely be back next time we come to Savannah!! Absolutely wonderful! We ate at the bar upstairs and the bartender provided great service and advice! The wines were delicious... and the night we were there we had the roasted peppers and the tomato salad for our first course and then the roasted chickenand the agnolotti for our second. HIGHLY recommend! Read more

Went to this beautiful restaurant for a family dinner. I would highly recommend reservations. It is located in a beautiful... historic home. The servers were attentive and friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious. We tried the oysters with peaches andordered extra as they were that good! We then continued our meal with beef tartare and tuna, followed with short rib andspaghetti, pork collar and NY strip, and a delicious peaches and cream dessert. There was an extensive wine and beer list, withdelicious cocktails as well. Every dish was beautifully presented and ate perfectly. We really enjoyed our dinner here and wouldhighly recommend!! Had dinner at the chefs counter and it was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive and we enjoyed talking to a couple of... the guys in the kitchen while we watched them prepare food. The set menu was fantastic. Who would have thought carrots couldtaste so good! The tuna crudo was definitely my favorite but it was all so good. We did the wine pairing and that definitelyadded to the overall meal. If you are looking for something special to do I would highly recommend this experience. Read more

Absolutely amazing. The best restaurant I’ve eaten at in years. We sat at the chefs counter and each dish that came out was... better than the next. Don’t worry about the menu, just leave it up to the chef to bring out the plates. Oysters. Sea bass.Salad. Octopus. Crudo. Aged NY strip. Everything was amazing. Sitting at the chefs counter you really see the team in action andcan understand why it’s the best food in Savannah. This place will soon have some Michelin stars. Read more

I had an incredible meal here with my mom a couple months ago and just recommended it to someone so figured I’d add a review.... Beautiful variety of dishes to choose from, so sharing plates is a must. I especially appreciate any restaurant that takes suchcare with vegetables! Nice wine list and tasty cocktails as well. The bar looks fun, too, although I only noticed that whilesticking my head in on the way to the restroom. I’m excited to return soon myself! Read more

A great restaurant in Savannah — worth to go even with some efforts. Cocktails are tasty — not overly sweet. Dishes are top... par compare to those in New York, and they are not too expensive. Service is fantastic. The taste of food are surprisinglygood compared to other restaurants. There’s a delicate concentration on acid and low key spiciness. The flounder crudo is amust — it has both soft crudo and the crunchy rose cookie part that gives surprise when you chew it. The short rib and shrimpalso is heavenly good. The slow braised rib meat literally can melt in your mouth, and it’s spicy sauce adds a complexity ofthe flavor depth. The best part is the chicken — the tenderness of meat mix with crunchy short grain rice can give a blast tothe texture of taste. Overall, I had a better experience than some Michelin star restaurants. Kinda surprised! Read more

Wonderful place in every way. The atmosphere is unique and refined. The food was absolutely top-notch. The Grouper was really... about the best I have ever had, and the New York Strip was seared to perfection. This is a Savannah must Read more
